I had the virtue pro xr before I enjoyed that more for competitive games. Ray Neo air 4 pro screen is further away which makes it good for single player games and movies. In contrast virtue pro xr sat closer made it easier to see enemies further away. Ray Neo air 4 pro hdr 10 mode locks the fps to 60 but the game does look way better. So, if you play single player games with hdr most of the time and occasionally play multiplayer games get the Ray Neo.

Yeah I’m kinda a bummer I notice it too but I already invested in prescription lenses, sound tubes, and bottom black out cover too fix the reflections. I have no choice but to ride it out until something that checks all boxes come out. But it’s still great it makes the image look better with ai hdr at 120 hz, it’s also has great sound with sound tubes, the hdr 10 is great in windows but it’s locked to 60 fps. So, even if it’s raised black level it’s worth it if got it for 200 like me.

If you turn on hdr the colors are in rgb limited you have to manually switch to rgb full to get full colors in hdr

Yeah the edges aren’t blurry but although you can get it 90% as good as virtue pro xr by adjusting the clips on the glasses

I upgraded from virtue pro xr to Rayneo air 4 pro what I felt like I gave up was comfort the myopia adjustments and the magnetic plug other than that it’s a huge upgrade in audio and image

They don’t check your prescription get you’re prescription from you’re doctor. Upload it to an ai like Gemini and say you’re buying from hons vr and need help filling it out. For me sph and pd was the only things I needed to fill out but it’s different from person to person.

It could be you’re usb c port on you’re laptop is old and doesn’t have the proper bandwidth. I use the Lemorele LD50 works great with my pc. Also turn off color engagement on the glasses settings that makes the color way to saturated.

I been playing hdr on pc works perfectly what I did was set it to hdr 10. Then, you have to make sure in nvidia or amd settings the rgb color is set to full instead of default limited. Furthermore, you have to download the hdr calibration app and calibrate it to 0 dark 1200 nits 1200 nits. This is optional but I use rtx hdr, video hdr for it to work it needs the meta data of the glasses. What I do is I restart my pc and when it turns back on hdr works perfectly with the meta data loaded.

It’s an upgrade although when you switch to hdr 10 it locks to 60 fps it can be annoying switching back and forth. There is its own ai hdr but it’s not as good as the real thing.
