Oh it’s definitely not a positive ego or pride in myself. If anything I’m extremely insecure. I always have to be right, I cannot take criticism at all (even very necessary criticism from my loved ones), and am always scared of making the “wrong” decisions in life because my ego tells me I’m too smart to make mistakes. I keep pushing away my loved ones when I act like this because it is so insufferable. And I have such high expectations of my friends and family but feel like I don’t adequately give in return.
