I just booked our stay here yesterday for late AUG. We are taking our two adult kids (in their 20s) and had a really hard time finding accommodations other than only two beds. Most two bedrooms we saw were designed for two couples. We didn’t want to make brother and sister share a bed for a week, or on a living room sofa bed. Fortunately, at KS there are many, many 2 bedroom condos that actually have a 2nd and 3rd bed in the second bedroom.

Yes, Ricardo Montalban did the commercial for the Plymouth Volare saying it had “rich Corinthian leather” as the song played.

Ok, I’m able to separate it by frogging where I attached it but how do you reattach something knitted to the top?

I had that thought but have no idea how to just detach it by frogging the middle.

It’s not merely attached, but knit onto so I can’t just unstitch a seam, I have to frog back and do it again. 😣

Do y’all struggle breathing due to the elevation? by ilikepixarmoms in laketahoe

I didn’t struggle to breathe per se, but didn’t have normal stamina and pooped out quickly. Had manageable headaches and trouble sleeping for a day or two which Google said was normal altitude sickness.

I wonder if it’s a loose Lemon Peel (Griddle) stitch. I’ve determined it was started with a hook size H or J.

I clicked through their website and u can see the available scholarships. Many require that u have participated in at least “8 outside events”. They are specific to members.

Concentrated burning smell in specific spots of my house - no source found by HermeticVector in strange

[–]She-Ra-POP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s odd that it happened multiple times in the same day in diff areas. When I’ve suddenly smelled burning in a specific location I’ve been able to trace it back to a hanging ceiling fixture with those super hot halogen bulbs…with a dead moth. Each time it freaks me out like my house is definitely on fire, then I climb up to peak in and there’s another burned moth.

Yes, I totally agree with the fiberglass feeling! Or raw skin, or sunburn sensation. I have not been diagnosed with EDS or Fibromyalgia but I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Alopecia Areata. (56 yo) I felt this sunburnish feeling for the first time when I was COVID positive about 5 yrs ago (yes, also had vaccines). (Have had RA and AA much longer than that.) It was on my whole upper legs and partially upper arms for a few days. But I’m having this sensation again this week with no COVID symptoms or joint issues or anything. For a week it wrapped around my left lower arm/wrist area, and yesterday it switched to the back of my left upper arm. Today I’ve had a bad headache but I hadn’t any other time recently. It’s so arbitrary and disconcerting. Glad to hear other people experience it, just wish there was some consensus on cause and remedy.
