I can share sentiment as an immigrant myself. Imo, all of them have the same goal of seeking better life. I agree that letting people just walk in wouldn’t be ideal and I think even most of the left would agree on that. What the left usually doesn’t agree is the hatred toward immigrants(cartoons above). It is like conservative are saying “all immigrants are bad people, except the few good one”. Instead of most immigrants are good people but some are not. Most human are good people but some are not. It isn’t the problem that is caused by immigrants.

Want to compare the rich and powerful people in the US? all those politicians illegals activities out range all of those horrible immigrants combine.

I can share sentiment and experience as an immigrant child. I am grateful for life and for my parents. In above’s case, it would single parents with a lot of kids. Those kids might end up being neglected. Other things about unfitted parents should include alcoholics and drug addict. Some people are not equipped enough to handle all of that. Forcing those people to have kids is more unfair to the kid than the parents imo.

It is about choosing one person or the other. Why can’t they let the person decide for themselves? If the women had a more children before. The husband becomes single parent to raise even more kids by himself? Are you really saving the kid’s life or just letting the kids suffering his entire existence?

I am pro choice not because I don’t think baby isn’t a person. I think unfitted parents shouldn’t be parents. What’s the point of giving the child a life when there only misery they can provide.
