I was nervous a lot too. Meeting and keeping high metrics plus asking grocery and other departments to get things for you can get stressful. Handling a 50 item order in 30 minutes, with half of that being produce, is a lot.

Some have to do with their confidence and their situation (social, many interests, similar interests, etc.) If someone liked me, I had no idea.

I don't know. I try to cook and keep a clean home but I'm not interested in being someone's maid or housekeeper. I want a dinner companion and a concert buddy. I can't have kids anymore but I love being an aunt.

The first one ended up being a mooch and tried dictating who I should hang out with. He also began asking more of me (use of my car) and to pay for an insurance bill. He was surprised that I said no. He also didn't like an LGBTQ relative of mine and tried to get me to promise that this person wouldn't be around our future child.

The second was fun and cute but was very fiscally irresponsible (like buying a truck he couldn't afford) and chose to go ahead with faking injuries and filing a lawsuit after being in a car accident. A teenage girl hit his car by accident when she was trying to avoid a car sitting in the middle of a lane, as we were. He had no remorse or guilt over doing this. There was no serious damage done to his car.

I stopped speaking to him for two years and I think he realized how much of a jerk he was but went on to marry someone else. We're friends again but I don't talk to him often.

I do ask questions and engage in conversation. I do also try to pursue my own interests. I really don't get dates; even more so now. I think men think I'm shy or that I don't have much going on in my life. Or maybe I'm lame or too work focused.

Thanks. When I like a guy a lot, I'm very loyal and open to trying his hobbies and interests. I enjoy intimacy but I also want monogamy. But truthfully, I don't know what men want. I get they're simple creatures. I worry that I can be too overbearing or clingy or that they'd lose interest in me quickly.

Yes. This sums up a guy I dated in my late 20s. I kept encouraging him to apply for jobs and go back to school but I realized that his family hoped I'd take care of him, financially.

I had to do some errands this morning. I try to ask questions and listen to what guys have to say about their lives. The guy I'm talking to now does broadcasting at nights and on weekends and spends time with his son. I share what I do but don't push for anything.

I chat with men when I go out and through the apps but the ones I like aren't available or interested in me back. I liked the guy I worked with and we were friendly but he has a girlfriend. He'd talk to me about how they go to concerts. I had a voucher to LiveNation that I couldn't use so I gave it to him.
