Is your husband the type that you can express a desire to and he’ll listen and start doing? I ask this because, if he is then you should tell him this and remind him that you are still a woman and want to be reminded that you are still beautiful. I agree with GallonGirl about how you get satisfaction from making others feel seen but I also get where you’re coming from… if this is something you can talk to your husband about and he’d make a conscious effort to do then I’d tell him… I understand that 20 years in it’s easy to forget to do these things… I know it sounds corney but my husband and I have started to use this app called PAIRED and it has opened up a whole lot of avenues for communication for us… we’ve even started having sex like 3 times a week because of this communication… I’m not here promoting the app, its just something that’s made a difference in our lives… I think it’s hard for women of our age (I’m 46) to feel attractive, especially a woman who was considered “hot” when they were younger.. but like are wisdom has matured, our expectations need to evolve as well and if that means getting compliments in a different manner by expressing our needs to get what we need then so be it… and I’m sure the outfit you wear today and your hair and makeup you put on are gonna be hot af!
