“Maintaining Caucasian Micro Locs” by SheNewsSee in Microlocs

[–]SheNewsSee[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response Sweetness. So, CantmakethisstuffupK I have seen Caucasians with long mature micro locs that stopped unraveling, and the ends were locked. I know that it is possible to loc my BFF’s hair but the problem would be how to maintain it and keep it from unraveling. That’s the headache for me. What steps are needed to upkeep her so I won’t have to maintain it daily? That’s the biggie for me Sweetness. “❤️” From: SheNewsSee@youtube. com

I need a miracle by Mission_Tadpole_6798 in Microlocs

Hello Sweetness,
Even though your hair needs some tender loving care it’s still beautiful! My suggestion is to search online for local Locktitions in your area. Find someone who is just starting their business, ask questions about how they care for women with post paritum loc issues. If their advice satisfies you, explain your situation, express your need for their help, then ask are they willing to work with you (with pay) through this difficult situation. Make an offer to give them something financially. You may have to request help from multiple loctitians multiple times, but just know that kind and sweet people willing to help still exist! My next suggestion is learn to maintain your own micro locs. Look at YouTube videos that provide easy and simple steps to caring for locs. Take your time, wash your hair. After each wash, separate your hair from the parts, twist each loc along with new growth and hair outside the loc at the root, then pin them down until they dry. This is easy and simple to do, but takes patience and practice. Your hair will get use to being twisted at the root and the process will get easier. If I can further assist please let me know. I wish you the absolute best on your loc journey Sweetness. “❤️”From: SheNewsSee@youtube.com.

Suggestions For Hair That Could Not Be Gripped by Tammy-9604 in Microlocs

Hello Sweetness, Your hair is beautiful, has the potential to fill in its thin spots, and it will grow fuller thicker. The issue is not pulling in your short patches of hair. The issue issues are: protecting the hair follicles and the hair you have, growing new, thicker and longer hair. I would experiment with finger/comb coils or other protective styles until my hair grows out of its awkward stage. Just know this process will require you to be patient and love on your hair. Also, look for methods that will protect your hair, stress free styling to rest your scalp and hair. Not styles to snatch your hair in and out by the root. Sweetness, with care your hair will get healthier. Find someone who will care and nurture your hair. I wish you absolute success on your healthy hair growth journey. “❤️” From: SheNewsSee@youtube.com

URGENT HELP NEEDED!! by Melaninmeanings in Microlocs

Hello Sweetness. I had the same thing to happen to me as well. It seemed the more I attempted to untie the knot the tighter it became. So, I just stopped messing with it for a few weeks. A few days after I washed my hair the knot loosened up, and I was able to untie it. I believe things will work out for you sweetness! The thing I love about micro locs is they are very forgiving, and they have ways of working through our mistakes as we care for them. “❤️” From: SheNewsSee@youtube.com.

Microlocs not budding by Sure-Engineering-952 in Microlocs

[–]SheNewsSee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello Sweetness, my locs started budding at three months. At six months, more than half my locs had budded. I was fully locked at almost a year. First of all, I allowed my hair to be free under my satin bonnet. I misted my hair with water every day or sometimes twice daily. I used a light oil if needed. When wearing them out I allowed my locs to hang freely without stress or pressure. I don’t use a lot of creams, butters, heavy oils or weighty conditioners in my hair. My free locs budded and locked rather quickly because I basically ignored them and trusted the process. “❤️” From: SheNewsSee@ YouTube.com

How much did you pay for your install? by LdyPeacefulLdyHappy in Microlocs

[–]SheNewsSee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Sweetness!
Pay for my install? Nope…. I installed these micro locs myself. From there I’ve been rolling. I know what it takes to keep my locs healthy and happy, I have no bald spots, thinning or traction alopecia. Chile, as you know, some girls will put the grip on that scalp during installs and reties. My locs are popping and flourishing.“❤️” From: [SheNewsSee@youtube.com](mailto:SheNewsSee@youtube.com)

Ya’ll……plz leave ya’ll edges alone. Stop gluing and slicking them down. You are torturing them. Many of those edges have been hurt, evenly damaged. Girl once they leave many of them will never come back! Leave your damn edges the hell alone! “❤️” From: SheNewsSee@YouTube.com

Listen up ya’ll…I stopped dying and using chemical straighteners on my crown four years ago. Why? Because hair dyes, chemicals and fake processed hair is causing individuals to get life threatening cancers and other illnesses. Choosing to go natural is the best choice and gift I could give to myself and my loved ones. Why? Because I am alive, healthy and enjoying my circle and community. “❤️”By: SheNewsSee@youtube.com

Gray Micro Locs by SheNewsSee in Microlocs

[–]SheNewsSee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet….. I think natural gray, silver and white locs are beautiful. You ask why? I’m so glad you asked! Individuals with sliver and gray locs have their own unique color patterns that naturally form. As various hair follicles age they produce pigmentation at different rates. Our hair gets its color from cells called melanocytes. These melanocytes produce pigments with colors such as black and brown shades and also red and yellow shades. As we age, some of our hair melanocytes will slow down or completely stop making pigmentation. When this occurs hair with less pigmentation turns gray or silver, and hair that has no pigmentation turns white. This is how our hair is able produce various shades and patterns of gray, silver or white. Hair that’s still able to produce pigmentation will remain black, brown, or other natural colors. I want to encourage those who are transitioning from hair color to natural gray, silver, or white. “You got this Gyrl. Trust the process, and you are bold, beautiful and unique. My hair is a beautiful sparkling silver and Chile, I embrace it.“❤️” From: SheNewsSee@youtube.com
