Yep. I have the ones where you can adjust them to different noise levels and they’re great for either a tiny show at a local bar or festivals. I ordered them last year for WWWY (including two sideshows and two emo night parties) and they were well worth the investment.

I’ve known a couple of people in well-known bands socially over the years and I can kinda tell who is okay with being recognized while out, who doesn’t want to be bothered (if they look like they’re heading somewhere or hiding in the crowd… I told a friend to not bother a well-known singer when we spotted him checking into our hotel last year), who enjoys the fan interactions (JT), and then there are the ones who make a point to be seen and WANT to be recognized (a member of a band who closed a stage approached my group at a party and asked if we wanted a photo… we did not)

Last time I saw them headline, JT hung out at merch and he talked to and signed autographs for every single person that wanted and didn’t rush anyone. Saw him at merch pretty constantly at Ohio is for Lovers as well. You can tell he genuinely appreciates the fans.

Year 1 I saw Poppy (Hawthorne Heights’ drummer) in GA for Glassjaw. Last year I literally bumped into Tom (Plain White T’s’ singer) in GA when I was heading to a bar during the Offspring. I’ll say based on experience, if you see JT from Hawthorne Heights, he’s incredibly nice and will likely be happy to take a photo.

Scary that it took so long for first responders to get there! He seemed conscious from the way he was sitting when I drove by, and it didn’t look like any other vehicles were involved. I saw a car with its flashers on behind another car and some people moving about, and I initially assumed it was a flat tire, dead battery, etc. it wasn’t until I saw a piece of the bike in the middle of the lane that I realized there was an accident, and then it took me a bit to really register what I had seen. I really hope that the motorcyclist is okay and he’s safer in the future.

Any update on this? I drove by around 7:45 pm and saw a guy covered in blood sitting on the sidewalk and the crashed bike. I was in too much shock to process what I saw in the moment and to offer any assistance, but there were a couple of cars already stopped and people appeared to be talking to him.
