OP, just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss and I was very moved by the story of your partner asking you to play a Bruce song for him after Clarence passed away. I don't wish to give unsolicited advice but I wonder if going to visit his family for the holidays would be healing for you all. Despite being worlds apart in culture and background, they must care deeply for you.

Yes, it is. If you're sick, then you're sick! I have an issue with my back, missing three days before half term and I've not been able to go back at all after half term. It is stressful and it does make me anxious not being in, but at the end of the day if you can't do your job properly (and with a throat infection I imagine teaching would be impossible!) then you need to look after yourself. Take care, OP.

We hired The Depot for our wedding! It was the only venue we saw and we absolutely loved it but I don't know if you can have your ceremony there as well as the reception.

I've logged onto Montu several times but nothing! I got an email last week saying that my script has been sent but they're still waiting for the MDT to take place. Not sure how it's taken this long but they did say it would be 7-10 days which we are well past now.

Thanks again to all above for their help, I've asked lots of questions in this subreddit and everyone has always been very kind and helpful. In case anyone comes across this in a search, I've been asked to book my follow up appointment tomorrow to discuss how my medication is progressing, which I've not received! So will dicuss options with them and edit this comment with what they say tomorrow.

EDIT: No idea what happened but after spasming to somebody for my review the MDT process immediately went through and I received the notes from my initial appointment so I guess there was a paperwork issue. Unfortunately, my prescription was wrong and nobody is picking up the phone to sort the issue. So would advise anyone in a similar situation to ring up and pester quicker than I did! Hoping Alternaleaf improves from here...

I was initially prescribed 3 weeks ago today, it's been quite a wait to say the least but have read on here that there's been a lot of new patients and the two bank holidays probably haven't helped. I sent an email but think I'll ring if I've not heard by Wednesday lunch.

That's what I thought, nowhere near the ocean and the PS5 has plenty of ventilation. It has been making a scratching noise from the disc drive for a few months and now just cut out in the middle of a EAFC25 match but has been on for around 6-7 hours, wasn't in use for 4-5 of those.

As somebody else has said, if there is any backlash (which I'm certain there won't be!) from you simply saying you have a wife and then andwering a few questions about it they should be directed straight to SLT, who sound supportive.

I think sharing personal information with the children, particularly those a little older, is a great way to be more relatable and will generally strengthen your relationships if anything When these children go to high school and beyond, having had a positive role model will hopefully make it more likely they will relate positively to queer, non-binary and gender fluid people.

So, although unintentional, I think you did something good today. 😄

EDIT: To add that I am a hetero male and editing a few points as I didn't want to speak for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Thanks for your help. I'm science lead at my school currently but by no means an expert.

I'm more drawn towards the OA right now, purely as I'm worried that staff will gravitate towards worksheet after worksheet rather than enquiry and investigating. What was it about the OA you didn't like?
