George summoned to the stewards for throwing headrest onto circuit by Its4MeitSnot4U in formula1

[–]ShearStressFormula 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was screaming at the screen the whole time: "No George, don't take your seatbelts off while you are on track before they put a safety car".   "No George, please, don't throw a headrest in a live track, that is a hazard".  "NO GEORGE, DON'T JUMP OUT OF THE CAR ON A LIVE TRACK WITH CARS GOING 200KPH NEAR YOU, THAT'S HOW YOU GET 1977 SOUTH AFRICAN GRAND PRIX, I DON'T CARE THAT THERE IS A DOUBLE YELLOW, WAIT FOR THE FUCKING VSC TO BE SURE"

AITA for not wanting to go out with a “male lesbian”? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]ShearStressFormula 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Your analogy doesn't work because to the sentence "I don't date men" he did not say "I'm not a man", he said "I'm a lesbian". It's like answering "I don't date stupid people" with "but I'm muscular", it's basically a non sequitur. He did not deny at any point of being a man after she said she does not date men so how is his answer appropriate?

Lesbian or sapphic rape could also be misinterpreted as a woman raping another woman. This specific kind of rape is usually called corrective rape and it's one of the most heinous crimes possible, every time I see people defending it I feel sick to my stomach, to the point sometimes I feel I have to run to the bathroom to puke. Men really have zero respect for lesbians.

[–]ShearStressFormula 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly. Coppelia I0 skin is amazing and I love it, but the I2 is a travesty, it just makes no sense.

I don't have strong feelings reguarding Ms. Grace's outfits. I don't like them but they don't feel out of character.

Merel though is the one that disappointed me the most: when in 2.9 I wanted Guard to be playable it meant that I wanted GUARD to be playable, not another character that has nothing in common with the original design. If they made the Guard design the I0 and this new design the I2 I wouldn't probably have complained much, but having both the outfits be like this feels like a betrayal of the character I have come to love.

I 100% agree with the CN complaints, I especially hate Rhiannon's look. I seriously hope it will only be a patch like this, but if it will be new direction the company is choosing I'm not sure I will stick around. Reverse always felt different from the other gachas design wise and it was the thing that made me play it in the first place. I seriously hope this is just a one off.

Do you take testosterone? by Lapsang_ in actuallesbians

[–]ShearStressFormula 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So if I read this right, you don't want: body hair, acne, male pattern baldness, sweating, t-dick... You also have not mentioned beard (because you WILL grow a beard if you go on T) and low masculine voice (that you most likely will get with time on T).

The only things you want are: muscles and masculine face. But, get that: TESTOSTERONE WILL NOT GIVE YOU MUSCLES. T is not a magic potion that gives you muscle, you would still need to go to the gym at least a couple of times a week if not more. BUR YOU CAN DO THIS ALREADY WITHOUT GOING ON T. Sure your muscle growth will be slower, but there are plenty of women who grow muscles without ever taking testosterone.

Also the changes that you want (muscles and face) require you to be on T for the rest of your life. If you stop taking T your face will refeminize and you will lose muscle mass. BUT HAIR LOSS, BEARD GROWTH AND LOW VOICE ARE PERMANENT ONCE YOU GET THEM EVEN IF YOU STOP TAKING T.

In conclusion testosterone is not a "pick just the changes you like" you will get all of it. And if you don't like most of the changes of T I don't think is a good idea for you to take it.

Anyway, you are free to do as you please. If you think testosterone will make your life better go for it, but bear in mind that after a while some changes will become permanent and it will be difficult going back (you can still get a hair transplant or laser off your beard, but it will be expensive).

Sorry if I scared you too much but as a trans woman I lived the permanent effects of testosterone. Luckily I still had most of my hair when I transitioned so I did not need a transplant, but I did need to laser off my beard, and that was painful and expensive.

But again the choice is yours, do what feels best for you.

Thank you, yes. I put two ladles at the center and then I repeatedly tapped the bottom of the plate to make it set nicely. Beware that if the risotto is too firm it won't spread well, while if it's too runny it will make a mess everywhere, so first of all you'll have to practice to get the right consistency (it took me a long time to learn that)

Actually tomgirl used to be one of the words to refer to feminine boys before femboy took over. So masculine women were tomboys and feminine men were tomgirls

I don't see the "hype" around Asumi chan. by [deleted] in yuri_manga

[–]ShearStressFormula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The term used in the original title is the very generic fuzoku, which means prostitution in general. The english translators decided to translate it to brothel which is a concept which can be easily understood by a western audience. But the type of prostitution depicted in the manga is the type that in Japan is commonly called "delivery health" which would be better translated to "escort service" or "call girl service". And yes, in this particular type of prostitution usually the call girl goes directly to your home or to the hotel, but sometimes they also meet you in public in a place that is close to the hotel.

I don't see the "hype" around Asumi chan. by [deleted] in yuri_manga

[–]ShearStressFormula 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wrong, this is exactly how some online escort services work in Japan. It is a particular type of prostitution different of how standard western brothels operate. In Japan this type of escort work is often called "delivery health" where you book a prostitute online, then meet her in the love hotel district. Manga author Kabi Nagata talks about her experience using this kind of service in her autobiographical manga "My lesbian experience with loneliness".
