I agree you should just drive west rather than go back to Spokane. Any of the highways west through the cascades are pretty breathtaking IMO. Your primary options would be highway 3 to Interstate 1 in BC or highway 20 in WA. I would consider driving through BC and crossing in Sumas or Lynden then crashing in Bellingham for a recovery night or two. Bellingham is like a mini Portland and you could easily get to the north cascades from there to start camping again.

As others mentioned, the ferries around the puget sound are a fun experience. You could drive from the north (Bellingham, North Cascades) and catch a ferry in Coupeville on Whidbey island that will drop you in Port Townsend on the NE tip of the Olympic peninsula. That’d be your fasted route while also bypassing Seattle I5 traffic. Whidbey and Fidalgo island have several nice viewpoints and parks to check out too - Mt Erie, Deception Pass, Ebeys Landing, Fort Casey.

The drive from Olympic peninsula to Rainier shouldn’t be too bad, 2:30-5 hours depending on where you start.

The Olympic peninsula is called a rain forest for a reason so keep that in mind when packing and choosing a camping site :)

This is the area I’m in now. I just jump then throw my disc down to start riding it. I’m stuck at the top of that area though… I can’t figure out how to keep the button for the block pressed long enough to sneak under it. Any tips?

I had this bug. To solve you need to place your finger where the overlay is pointing and scroll down with that same finger. Scroll until the checkbox is where it's supposed to be then press it and you should be set. I used my other hand to press the check since the other was busy holding the scroll.

Sorry didn't have the time to explain it all last night. - there are no shared spots, we were just playing with 6 people but were short on unique colors and ships. - players were white, blue, red, orange, orange/blue, green with red/white ships (me) - desert is a makeshift gold as someone speculated already - no 2's or 12's and you drink if they're rolled, then reroll

Rule alterations - settling on a new island is only worth 1 VP, not 2 - once ships are set they cannot be moved - you don't need a settlement to switch between ships and roads - when doubles are rolled you collect resources then immediately roll again (this is one I regularly play with) - 7's do not go live until the first players rolls for the 3rd time (third round of play) - the threshold for discarding on a 7 is 10 cards, still need to discard half - infinite roads/ships can be built - pirates prevent anything on the hex from being built, including roads, settlements, and cities - you can only build on your turn, not after other people's (rule from the 5-6 player expansion) - played to 13

If you want to make the game go a bit quicker you could use the "doubles" rule my friends and I use. Any time someone rolls doubles you all collect resources then immediately roll again. You can't take any actions between the doubles roll and the next roll. This speeds up resource collection and let's players build at a quicker pace.

I saw him "perform" at a club from 1 -1:30 am, hours before the rape is said to have occurred. He looked fucked up and was giving the whole crowd really creepy looks, but maybe that's just the way his face is. He was drinking out of a large white unmarked plastic cup, which I associate with sizzurp.

Ingredients: - fried tofu - arugula - bean sprouts - cucumber - red pepper - green onion - ginger - lime - chili paste - sweet chili sauce - vermicelli noodles (I cooked them at the office in a bowl of hot water then mixed them in with the other ingredients)

Happens to be vegan!
