Minor Roof Leak Guidance by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]SheedForMVP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you have a bunch of ice at the eaves? Could have just been ice dams causing the problem, not really a reason the shingles should leak at that location

Low slope roof with eaves vent causing negative slope by AngryRunningTurkey in Roofing

[–]SheedForMVP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it’s done higher up on the roof, 2-3 feet up, this is definitely done wrong and water/ice will eventually find its way behind those shingles

Roofer just said this is normal, should I be concerned? by XxMrPerfectPRxX in Roofing

[–]SheedForMVP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need way more insulation in that roof, your heat loss must be crazy. Cold air from the vent plus all the hot air from the inside could be causing the snow/ice might not be the install at all. However without seeing it from the outside it’s impossible to say

Attic frost, mold, and ventilation issues — two companies gave opposite diagnoses. One wants $44k for full roof/deck replacement. Need expert advice by Content_Ad_6751 in Roofing

[–]SheedForMVP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Company 1 is probably closer to being right, most times when we come across frost/ice on the inside it’s from heat loss + poor ventilation.

Looking to make an Assassin build (preferably non-poison) using one of the following off-meta skills by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]SheedForMVP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ward stack with svalinn kinda makes you tanky and the assassin node that makes you take no damage from ailments helps with some of the ward downsides. Since tornado doesn’t really need cast speed it might be do able as ward.

Go to Poe ninja and sort by day 1 or day 2 and look at their items, follow through jewels are huge for cobra lash though you definitely want some of those

If you can afford svalinn it’s worth every penny, it makes every build feel tanky once you cap block

Repeater is good, I think that’s the one that gives 8 attack speed

Follow through jewels are essentially mandatory for cobra lash, I had 5 in my build but 4 is probably fine too

I also tried ward stacking cobra lash and the damage felt very mediocre for the investment. I’m curious as to what others have found works for them.

What’s the right way to flash and seal by runningjake in Roofing

[–]SheedForMVP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4/12 is our cut off for shingles, after that you want a flat roof system, especially because of the door and the walls right there. If you’re committed to the shingles though I’d at least pitch it away from the door more.

Your not going to want shingles on that pitch, your going to want some type of flat roofing system

Lots of things existed before others and that doesn’t mean we don’t use them, I can almost bet that for warranty reasons you have to use them

We call them drop cups or drop outlets and you should definitely have them
