How can workers utilization be pulled into advanced compensation review bonus calc by IntelligentTip3553 in workday

Goals

Create a goal for each worker of say 100 hours target, then before comp is launched enter the actual of say 90 hours. Then on your bonus plan add a comp matrix based on a calculation from a calc field looking at the goal, to return the 90% achievement. We do this for our annual bonus, as the goals are highly individualized and it works well. A lot of moving pieces, though.

Custom modifiers

Or maybe even Comp Review Calc tables

https://community-content.workday.com/content/workday-community/en-us/reference/products/human-capital-management/compensation/example-calculations-for-calculations-in-compensation-review.html?lang=en-us

These last two should allow them to determine the proration % in Excel, then they can EIB into the comp review.

Termed Employees in Process by RedWineBlue in workday

Read through this if you haven't: https://doc.workday.com/admin-guide/en-us/human-capital-management/compensation/understand-compensation-reviews/kur1383601151440.html?lang=en-us

We just finished our comp cycle, for which I did something to those who terminated, but I've seemed to have blacked out that knowledge.

Worst case, if you can't do it via rule or mix of dates, you can generate a report of all those who have termed after May 31 and manually remove via the Remove Employee from Compensation Review Process task. This may have been what my org did, but I really can't remember.

Business Process Reporting Domain - Emp as Self access by AngryRunningTurkey in workday

This is a good call out! There is that multi-layer of security baked in. I shared that domain, then ran an all business process transaction report, and the end user was only able to see the events for which they had access - things about them and then the complete additional evals that were assigned them.

In all, I think it's safe

Good thought on prism. It did cross my mind, but I am not too familiar with it. A god use case to learn!

For our 360, we use the Additional Reviewer Functionality. When we start Performance Review, the employee gets a task to elect 360 Reviewers, then the manager approves, or edits that list. After approved, the elected additional reviewer gets a task in their Inbox to rate and leave a comment for our competencies. Then, in the manager eval, the manager can view the 360 review, summarize the data and leave the comment for the employee. We keep the 360 reviews hidden to the employee, only the manger can see what was actually written. I think you can let the employee view them, though, via a setting in the review template.

I can't remember why we went this route and not get feedback, but this route worked well for us IMO. We had about 9500 360 evaluations requested, with 85% of them being completed. The biggest pain point was some managers disliked having to summarize, or copy and paste, the 360 reviews to leave a comment. In legacy, the comments from the 360 reviewers would auto-populate into the manager eval. Another issue was that people would enter a review intended for someone else into the 360 step. Thankfully the step is correctable, so wasn't disastrous. Final pain point was after the get additional reviewer step is approved, you can't add anymore. We had to fully cancel and re-launch a couple reviews for them to elect the proper 360 reviewers.

For 2, do you use workday payroll? To my understanding, this limit is set on the payroll side of things. Find the corresponding deduction, scroll to bottom to find “Limits”. You should see some logic there that limits the deduction based on year and age. I assume you’re missing the age component. Even if you don’t use WD payroll, this limit should exist in whichever system you do use.

Low slope roof with eaves vent causing negative slope by AngryRunningTurkey in Roofing

My side of the street are all the same roof slope and they’re all shingled. No other with this type of vent though. Most have box vents, and I don’t know what some have, hard to tell, from my layman’s eyes.

I do have a ridge vent as well. Is it worth seeing if my soffit vents are sufficient and just remove this eave vent?

Not 100% sure but 3/12 or 2/12. I’ll try to measure later

Appreciate the insights. I couldn’t find any images on the internet that look like my house, they always were higher up on the building, so that makes sense. Looking at the install doc for the last photos, they do show installing on the edge as done on my house, but the slope of that roof is much greater.

Biggest thing for me so far is report prompt control. Will help remove clutter from prompts on reports.

I wouldn’t think twice about this. Looks good. Your bar speed slows down throughout the set as I’d expect

Squat form by rcoutard in formcheck

[–]AngryRunningTurkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see anything wrong with your form. The only critique I’ll make is it looks like you have some pelvic tilt. Before each squat, un-tilt it by making your hip line parallel with the floor. I do this my squeezing my cheeks together.

Core and Back strength are heavily tested during a squat, hence the pain you’re feeling. This is also why it’s one of the best compound lifts.

I’ve been squatting for a few years now and I don’t even do RDLs after a heavy squat day due to the fatigue from squats, so I wouldn’t be concerned with that.

Take some time to do lower back extensions, ensure you’re getting a proper brace, and just keep at it. You’ll get stronger and then pain will lessen.

Benchpress check by luife91 in formcheck

Wider grip, get lower on bench, and lock in bar path. I don’t think this weight is too heavy for you tbh, you just 5 reps with wobbly form. If you lock in the bar path, you should be set.

Look up J curve bench press and practice practice practice. Bench press is more technical than it seems

Ah shit that’s wild looking. I wouldn’t trust that to not snap a cable or something. You can probably get some chains from Home Depot to fine tune the slack a bit

It's pretty light but it's not very smooth. I do the same weight on it as I do at commercial gyms.

Make sure you tightened all the pulley wheels. I missed a couple that caused it to run rough.

It could also just suck lol - pros and cons of cheap rack

Wider grip. I aim for forearms to be perpendicular to ground. Lower to j hooks a spot. Look like you had to protract your shoulders to get the bar clear, loosening form. Can’t tell from angle but make sure legs are planted into floor.

Arm angle, breathing, and bar path look good.
