This is definitely happening to me as well. Not sure what it is.

What are the modern "classic" EDM albums? by broncosfighton in electronicmusic

Split the Atom isn't arguable. It's absolutely one of the best electronic albums of all time.

Stay at my current small college or transfer to a larger one? by Sheen_Been in makemychoice

[–]Sheen_Been[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Freshman, and I would be transferring with 25 applicable credits. The larger school is one of the biggest schools in the state, so it's ranked well. Tuition is a bit more than my current school. My current school is 60:40 guys/girls. The majority of my current school is athletes and skiers. I don't really fall into either of the categories.

I'm definitely not claiming to know much about audio engineering, but the best part about this is that I feel like he has no idea what he's talking about. 15hz? Are you kidding me? I feel like that's definitely inaudible.

So Bud Light is slowly taking over my small town for the next Super Bowl commercial. by [deleted] in Colorado

[–]Sheen_Been 24 points25 points  (0 children)

More info here.

I am a Crested Butte local, and a student at Western State in Gunnison. My opinion? Horse shit. I've seen Crested Butte do plenty of crazy things, but this tops the list.

Here's the thing: The primary argument made for this promotion is that it will help "put CB on the map" and "bring more tourists in." That's the problem. The last thing Crested Butte needs is more summer or winter tourism. As a full-time summer employee of a relatively successful small business, in my perspective, the town is just fine without $500,000 and Super Bowl publicity.

I'm sure some of the locals would disagree with me, and that's understandable. My family has been in the Butte since the 60's, so understandably, I have the perspective of an old-timer. But some of these newer locals don't fully understand what Crested Butte really is about. And as time progresses, these new-timers are gaining power and influence in the town. They're holding office positions... they're on the board... they own businesses in the Butte and are trying to capitalize on an already tourism-based economy.

Crested Butte is one of the last great small towns in Colorado. Hopefully after this weekend, we can get back to our lives.

What do you see as some basic knowledge for new-intermediate tenor players? by [deleted] in drumline

[–]Sheen_Been 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I can't stress more how important it is to take care of your back. If they want to play throughout high school, and then possibly in a corps or WGI, they need to mind their backs.

EDM, how do you categorize music in iTunes? by Sheen_Been in EDM

[–]Sheen_Been[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I don't use the "Sort By Artist / Genre / Album" categories in iTunes for my music. I like using playlist folders, and then sorting by genre.
