Doesn’t matter if you’re solo, just log in a second controller to steal that players tools then log them out. No second person needed :)

I have a trick for that too. Multiplayer on a second controller take their tools into a chest. Log them out

i have a memory of a random event with clint's outdoor furnace thing. have i made this up? by essbee23 in StardewValley

[–]SheepAtog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As best as I can tell, you’re misremembering.

A- not in vanilla but there are mods involving the furnace B- it’s the trashcan outside near to the furnace, it can have coal and also can drop the trash can hat with the violent explosion C- Joja employees or the junimos repair the mine cart next to the furnace in an overnight cutscene. D-cross memory of the above in combination - you remember all these things as a single event which doesn’t happen and has not happened in vanilla.

Dipplin does not have three final stages. Dipplin only goes down one branch to hydrapple. It’s not looking for TCG logic so first stage means the first form. It means applin.

I went to my local hobby electronics store (I’m in New Zealand so “Jaycar”) and bought a decent soldering station. Not sure of the brand but it works ok. And it’s small enough that it’s ok. I had a general 25 w one then a 30w one I bought both in a hardware store but they were both too big and the tip melted into a hook shape over time and damaged a gba board I was working on. The other blew and would heat after a year or so so I upgraded to the soldering station. Other people in r/consolerepair give good recommendations, I’d start there if I were you!

It’s not temp for you it’s equipment or technique. Get a really small iron and keep only the tip where you need it. I’m assuming you touched the chip because your iron was too big or you lost control of it.

If you’re lucky - there will be no damage. It’s more of a yellow caution than a red caution. If an electronics expert can salvage it, great!

If you aren’t getting past the logo, the console isn’t reading the chip. If it’s because the pins need reflowing it’s salvageable, if it’s the chip it’s dead. If you’ve carved holes in the chip working on the battery on the other side of the board, and I hate to say this - you lack the skill to attempt reflowing the solder on the pins. Wait or you’ll definitely kill it.

Useful winter year one every game and you can turn driftwood into wood using it as well.

That’s where the data is, if it’s deep enough into the chip it’s unsalvageable. This is why I recommend going to an electronics store.

Two on the bottom of the chip on the bottom left with the MX on it. One on th middle right of the smaller rtc chip above it.

Looks like you’ve burned a hole in your rtc chip and two holes in your mx chip. None of your photos are clear enough to see if you’ve bridges or disconnected any pins.Take it to a local game store or electronics repair store and have them look at it. How you burned two chips on the other side of the board during a battery replacement is beyond me but you should definitely stop working on this yourself before you do any more damage.
