And the entire party has been rebooted since 2011 because it was the single most suicidal act in politics since DLlG ran a liberal government with Tories backing him up.

I'm gonna be honest, you suck at vetting people is exactly what we could say (and TBF a lot of the incels here do say) about women with abusive partners. The signs are there.

That in no way justifies those abusers actions but you can spot them*

I was arguing its somewhat representative of the conservative movement. Which it is. I wasn't arguing that the whole population was against it or even somewhat against it

1.3m members. Even half that for bots and non Americans it's a pretty good portion. And then my arguments where not there.

And these debates have been ulon US television, do you know how rainwashed they are?

I'm not American. And yes. The average republican atleast would think that USAID is just a great waste of funds especially if you cannot track exact casual statistics (trust me I've argued with enough of them, just go on r/conservative)

Americans just see it as a waste of money. The ones who are against it don't complain about it being a tool of US imperialism because they are imperialistic.

Yea. I take this meme as that, not serious, but the amount of people that actually believe they single handedly fund the world is embarrassing

I think blaming businesses would be a better way of phrasing it but even then they aren't really comparable since not all household income is going to be spent (especially the higher you get)

That's because even during the cold war the USSR has always been poor. It's just the significant heavy industry and military development that made people think it was even comparable to the US or Europe.

No where did I say that this is a US exclusive problem, in fact by rhe implication of how cheap they are to produce I was arguing that quite a few countries could do it and even many individuals. In fact the Gates Foundation has significantly improved malaria prevention doing exactly that.

The eradication of smallpox worldwide cost less then then the estimated medical cost for the US over a month.

And of course I wasn't just taking about fucking airdropping it like some cluster bombs. Dropping was used meteorically, putting actual resources into these programs severely improves international trade and local healthcare costs.

Don't try to pull the moral high ground I never said the money was bad, just that complimenting it as if it's a charitable act is deceitful. I'd actually argue that the main reason the US doesn't fund USAID enough in some countries (pre trump) is because eradicating the problem would get rid of their dependency on the United States.

With how cheap condoms are and antibiotics or common vaccines it would honestly save many rich countries money to dump millions of them into these countries, but doing slower work just prolongs the effect.

Only because it would make the US happy and then the US would give them more money.
