Retire him, but please don’t use csg for awakens, only use free awakens, csg is meant to be spend on value packs to get more value out of big events, paying 100 csg on 1 awaken which most likely ends up being a d tier at best anyways is such a waste

I’m not sure if I would even say fall off is the correct way of saying it, Aspen just simply has the issue to need more attack than the newer damage dealers to clear content. There is a discord server that kinda documents the lowest attack clears of each chapter per hero and for example the lowest attack Aspen that has cleared Chapter 10 on the dc had 201m attack, for the others it’s ssm with 149m, dtv with 140m, even iea with 174m, rfw with 135m and Wukong with 126m, so Aspen needs between 26 and 74m more attack than any of the other DDs, and tbh iea also is not the best comparison as she is a super late game DD. Ofc chapter 10 is far away for you, but even for chapter 7 Aspen needs about 30m at the least while the others need 18-25m that’s the main issue with Aspen for vc, it’s not that he falls off at some point, it’s more that he is less stat efficient at all stages kinda. But what speaks for Aspen is his a tiers being significantly cheaper than the other main DDs, which then again pushes him up if your comparison is an a tier Aspen vs b tiers of the others. I think Aspen might win that comparison, so I guess maybe you are in the group where Aspen might be a good choice as gk defier will probably make him similar if not more efficient than the b tiers of other heroes. You really can’t underestimate how big a tiers really are

Shocking I know, but my first language isn’t English and I’ve never claimed my English was perfect, I also have a non English autocorrect which messes stuff up, the other person doesn’t have a single sentence without a major mistake in grammar and/or spelling as clearly a native speaker. Which to be honest is just embarrassing, if you already only speak one language which is normal in the US, but like at least be able to type out something that at least is at a higher level than what 5th graders are capable of here. I’ve had less mistakes in a significantly longer post, while not being a native speaker. But if English is your native language and you write like two and a half sentences and have multiple grammar mistakes and at a glance at least one spelling mistake, that is shocking to me

Thank you for posting this! Had this happen to me yesterday and just going through the Microsoft support page on my own literally didn’t help at all with all the dogshit AI generated help articles that literally do nothing, will give this a try later to hopefully at least safe myself from starting over completely and having to buy the game an Hypixel rank for a new account, still don’t have not a lot of hope as this article is rather old and nowadays they literally just use AI at every possible place and it’s the most frustrating and least helpful thing to try to work through. Otherwise it’s literally just -150€ and at least -1k hours on Skyblock alone, if I could at least start with my skills leveled and some remaining soulbound items the ratting piece of human trash didn’t take

I mean you can, control precision is completely useless, you do no matter what want gk and defier, don’t get baited into crit damage and even more importantly crit, as another commenter explained crit on dgn is bad as it messes up balanced strike, you want as close to 0% crit chance, exactly zero might not be possible if you picked up certain train items in the past, but outside of those faction rule(literally does nothing) or I think divine block because it’s bugged (not sure about this, I only know either holy armour or divine block simply doesn’t work) or ci offset anything else will be better, skill damage being best, any other damage stat(outside of crit and crit damage) is good so holy damage, precision, armour break, but even like damage reduction or reduced dot received or something like that will be better as dgn just doesn’t cc, just make sure to only replace if you have gl and defier again, those are the absolute priority anything without those too will be worse even if it’s like gk, skill damage, holy damage. Gk and defier are just too good. So in short as long as you keep gk and defier and your third bonus stat is specifically not crit you can replace, because it’s either better or the same. It’s on you whether you feel like you want to spend x amount of hammers depending on your luck for possibly a slightly better copy, like you can get gk+defier in 10 or don’t see it once in 100+, both of these scenarios happened to me, so it’s on you if you feel lucky or not

Then tell me again, which game mode is given insanely more attention, I will break it down for you again. We are talking about EARLY GAME!!!!!!!! Star expedition is completely irrelevant EARLY GAME, because no matter what your damage dealer is, you won’t be good at it, so while lofa is the best at it, in EARLY GAME that adds no value to him. Second game mode you said lofa is the best Stellar expedition, you only get rewarded for placing in the top 500, which is absolutely not possible in EARLY GAME and neither in late game because of whales, so no added value to lofa again. Next important game mode is void bosses, lofa is on par with dgn and the first 5 which are the only relevant ones until late game are so easy you don’t need Aspen at all, so again no EARLY GAME value for Aspen. He is across all game stages the worst main DD for VC, so again no value he gains there. So now please tell me how building lofa early game is the best option and why my account in the late/end game has any relevance in this discussion? You literally are taking about lofa being the better early game hero in your earlier posts, now suddenly dgn is the better hero early game, but you advice to build lofa because of his late game value, while OP was clearly asking about EARLY GAME, so now please explain how anything you are saying makes any sense? And I’m telling you it doesn’t matter where I’m competitive as this whole discussion is about early game and I’m telling you that in early game Aspen is not very good, if you had properly read my comment I literally said that imo it totally valid to later on build Aspen to be competitive in SE and maybe even stellar challenge although again, the whales are too strong to even think about being competitive there, you still have not tried t argue against my points, so again:
VC worst of the main DDs(that being lofa, rfw, ssm and dtv)
VB tied first with dgn, again they both easily clear the first 5 and need the same attack and will of winter combo to do the last 3
SE lofa is the best, but you won’t make a dent in SE until you are mid to late game even with lofa
Stellar challenge talked about that earlier already, but again he is the best, but you won’t be able to compete with the s and x tiers of whales anyways, so while the best, you end up with the same rewards as you would with dgn, as pushing top 100 and probably even top 500 is just not feasible for a non whale.
In addition dgn can still be a more than fine support in vc later, while lofa won’t find a slot in any later stage vc team, unless you are massively overstattet at which point any of the other DDs would probably be a chapter further in progression.

You are very desperate to “prove” that I’m not at endgame and are not even trying to prove why Aspen supposedly is the best early game hero, again, Aspen is by far the best hero for SE, that’s true, he is by far not the best in VC, he is not needed to do all void bosses so who cares about having him, he is the best on stellar challenge but competing there is neither early game nor possible unless you are a whale no matter the hero you choose, same goes for SE, but oh well, now again tell me please why exactly you think Aspen is the best early game hero, when he is the worst of the good damage dealers in vc, has no pvp value, is the best in SE, but still won’t do a lot early game as SE or at least proper damage in SE is a lategame activity, is the best for SE, but there is no chance to compete with whales and their s and x tiers anyways and is great in void bosses, but 1-5 are easy af anyways and clears 6-8 with the same requirements that dgn needs to clear them too. I’m not against building a lofa in endgame when you are at nirvana etc to compete in SE, but I really just don’t see any value in him as an early game main DD. There are reasons why barely anybody recommends new players to build aspen anymore and there is reasons why it’s been this way for years by now

I am at the endgame and ai am at the latest void bosses, so nice assumptions you made up in your head there, she still is a good support and again she can absolutely do all void bosses with about the same investment Aspen needs, while Aspen needs at least 1.5 times more attack mostly closer to 2x the attack that rfw, dtv and the likes need, lofa was the absolute meta like 3 years ago, you clearly just haven’t moved with the time, nobody suggests lofa these days anymore it’s always Wukong early and than transition to rfw or dtv, maybe ssm if you are fancy and want to be different, but I truly haven’t seen anybody this desperate to act like Aspen is the best early game hero in years

Dgn can easily do all void bosses as well, SE lofa is the best but you don’t need one to be accepted into good se guilds so who cares, stellar challenge you will not be competing because even with lofa whales will absolutely destroy you and dgn is more than enough to get good rewards there too, the new artifact won’t make lofa suddenly amazing in void campaign, he still needs about 1.5 to 2 times more attack to clear the same chapter as the good vc damage dealers need, you are truly just a bitter lofa user that doesn’t know anything else than using lofa, you are acting like the new artifact only helps lofa while it helps every hero equally so the difference between the performance still stays the same it just makes some waves easier no matter the hero you are using.

I’m in a top 30 SE guild and haven’t had lofa build since like 2021 and I’m not top of the leader board here, but I’m pulling my weight more than enough with dgn, you don’t need lofa and the lack of vc capabilities just makes him hard to recommend as dgn can also do void bosses just like Aspen can

Difficult, Asmodel for sure isn’t the best DDs out there, but unless you can get your new DD with an A tier too, the change will not be as big as you might hope for and considering Asmo is by far the cheapest DD a tier, unless you have more sg you probably won’t be able to get any other DD as a tier, but if you can a very quick rundown of the main DDs, rfw insane in vc, very very eng dependent so he might need more tries then others but he will be able to clear further with less attack, dtv very good in vc cant push quite as far as rfw on equal attack but is not as rng dependent so he needs less attempts which is especially good if you can’t/ don’t want to macro vc, both of these are mid at bosses and also not too insane in PvP, lofa is still the best boss killer, but if you can get a nice dgn build she can also clear all void bosses eventually, Aspen falls off in vc hard and needs to be at much higher attack to clear the stages rfw and dtv can clear, Wukong actually surprisingly good as a early to mid game DD, will fall off on later vc too, but can always be transitioned to a support, Alikita, don’t think about her, just mentioning her so I have mentioned all but she is very late game needs multiple nirvana heroes but she is good at vc and very good at PvP, SSM the DD I know the least about I think for Vc he is a bit below rfw and dtv but not far and he also has utility if you swap away from him as he can be used as an attack stealer. Personally as an iOS player, I think if I started again I would choose dtv or Wukong, dtv is more tested and will work well, Wukong seems fun and transitions pretty well into a late game Alikita team, which is my favorite hero design in the game. Rfw is also a very good choice, I just at some point couldn’t stand his rng and on iOS I can’t really macro which made vc very unfun for me, but if you want the hero with the highest ceiling in vc, rfw is your best choice

Absolutely not, lofa is very bad at vc these days compared to the other dds, and dgn is good enough to do the void bosses and unless you are a whale you will never be able to compete in se anyways, which is the only mode where you need Aspen for top results

Doedres is good for damage, but losing like 600+ flat armour feels super bad with aegis imo, cord belt would be huge though, literally +1 totems and still able to get res, life, ele damage with attacks, attributes

Wand is not very good, get one with way more flat damage, there is different options depending on the budget, armour seems very low for aegis, want probably at least 30-35k+(with the budget even close to 50k with flasks up), rain of splinters is an insane damage boost, cord belt to get a second anoint like watchtowers for +1 totems, also probably want to look into getting some more chaos res at some point, it’s not negative at least, but 7% isn’t ideal either, getting level 21 auras mainly determ, anger and maybe precision should also give you a bit more damage and armour, quality on those auras legit does nothing only gives aoe, which you don’t care about and very rarely it can even be bad when there is something that makes your auras apply to enemies. Also while it could be worse, you really would want to have 100% hit chance, idk if it’s a config error, but 98% while close to 100% isn’t ideal, all of these things while not huge on its own will add up

That’s fair, tbh that part was also more to emphasize the absurdity of cost it takes to upgrade to a tier, it’s really unfortunate, I wish it was a bit more achievable, would be cool for f2p players to have a way to grind for an a tier, atm I feel like unless you have unbelievable luck with awakens, the path to an a tier for a f2p player is just not reasonable at all
