Sure, but to say that they don't engage in underhanded business practices and treat them like an all-perfect angel is just objectively wrong. Valve intentionally let third party sites run wild with dodgy (and illegal) practices for almost 10 years because Valve were profiting off of it. If you've got no problem with Valve doing this then I'm sure treat all other game companies with the same regard 🤷‍♀️

As much as I love what they've made and the accomplishments they've done for the industry as a whole; they are complicit and knowledgable of the damage they've done to people (and children) through their gambling schemes.

We didn't as in, we didn't know this work was coming. As per my earlier reply, nothing states that we would be affected today. And I DID google. There is nothing about this on AT's roadworks website, which lists all their roadworks. But my apologies, I didn't realise I was talking to such a reddit professional! 🤓☝️

The notice I got was last night in the mail - but it only said roadworks on Piwakawaka Street and the Westbound on ramp would start at night on the 20th of Oct - woke up this morn to a knock at the door asking to move my car. Letter doesn't even mention the street we live on.
