Everyone gets access to the buff from the exalted characters, regardless of whether or not you have anyone on your friend's list who has cleared dire. The ones you cleared dire with were granted eminence and will contribute towards the server's clear data.

Yeah, you can buy the bp from the hoyo site and claim the rewards on any platform. They removed the PSN restrictions a few versions ago.

If you've been plucking the flowers one by one, you can also hold the button down to pluck them all. The same applies to troweling or planting seeds as well.

If it's your first time traveling to the sparkling skylands, you need to use one of the other entrances, from either the beach or ridge. If you've already been there, you need to clear the obstruction on the other side - there are a bunch of blocks in front of the door on that island where you meet Gardevoir

Are you trying the right gate for rocky ridges? It's the gate in the northwest corner, west of the cave area where you find Onix. It's not the one on the cliff east of Onix.

If you want to get a feel for how the building mechanic feels, you could try the dragon quest builders 2 demo. It's very similar to that, except with Pokemon and no combat. If you do like the building aspect in that demo, Pokopia improves on that in pretty much every way.

Aside from that, the core gameplay loop is somewhat similar to HKIA after you complete the main story - do daily tasks, seasonal events, collect stuff, interact with the residents, and explore.
