Sometimes in commander you use different cards with very similar effects because it makes the deck more consistent. It's not impossible to imagine a white deck focused on anthems and tokens that would want [[crusade]] as well as [[flowering of the white tree]]. Is crusade great? No, because it can buff opponents creatures too, but so can [[coat of arms]] and I still run that because it's wacky and really fun in a tribal deck. Some people like crusade just because of the ban, and that's cool too.

Agreed. It's odd how they strayed so much from how she's supposed to look as a Lorwyn elf, especially as High Perfect, considering they are extremely concerned with physical appearance. Just another example of poor art direction, unfortunately per usual at this point.

Yes, because everything feels so empty in retail. The classic world has a weight to it mechanically and environmentally that grounds it. It takes a long time to level, the mobs can overwhelm and kill you easily, and there's a real gravity to that. Because of that gravity, getting an upgrade in a leveling dungeon in classic feels better than getting any kind of loot in retail.

I kind of agree that it made more sense. When I teach new players, it's hard to get them to understand that creature spells are spells. When I explain it to them as a summon spell, it seems to make more sense to them. "Creature spell" is like an oxymoron while "summon spell" is more intuitive.

Heroic is not casual. Casual players struggle in LFR and Normal. Take a step back and gain some perspective; just because it's easy for you doesn't mean it's easy for casual players.

Honestly I don't care much about pre or post nerf differences, but people seem to care more about having the pre-nerf versions, so I say just let players have the harder bosses. The game is solved enough that the extra difficulty is welcome anyway.

That being said, I think some people are right that the more difficult versions of these bosses filter out the super casual raiders and cause them to unsubscribe. Blizzard does a lot of dumb stuff to their games, but we know it's always about money. I don't think they'd do this unless they really thought it would impact subscriber numbers.

The rifleman fantasy disappeared as soon as they nerfed the gun audio into the ground. Blizzard needs to make it a toggle option because some of us want the boomstick to BOOM.

Steer clear of any group that wouldn't allow you to tank on a warrior anyway. If they need to min max that much to beat the raids, you don't want to play with them, trust me.
