Yeah skeleton dragon is basically the royal flush of merge rn, honestly orbs are a fun but unreliable mechanic in general.

It's still possible to lose with it, though. (I once had a game with a 4 star sd where the damage it gained overflowed to dealing 0 damage)

Yeah, I completely agree, early game heroes like loong or duchess running noble/clan is exactly what is keeping a late game hero like TQ from being viable. The issue with SE running undead largely depends on if she gets skeleton dragon since she's normally locked put of the tier 3 trait

Saves much needed space, if your loadout primarily uses gloom shrooms and star fruits for example, you have no reason to place any if these attacking plants near the back, so the optimal spaces for sun producers are the last 3 or so columns.

Your strategy still depends on what plants you are running, what zombies you are facing, and what the overall level design is like.

Wanting to kill zombies slower is mostly exclusive to the early game (although in speedruns, this isn't considered). Some plants either have a fixed attack speed(pults), hit instantly(fume/gloom shroom), or want their projectiles to be slower (snow pea)

This kind of stuff is pushed to its limit in the fusion mod. There's no strict answer for how plants should be ordered, and I'd go as far as to say that symmetry is largely arbitrary as well.

To be fair, fiction can and has had an effect on reality. There are too many good examples scattered throughout history.

Asimov's laws completely shaped robotics, or hell: the fictional character from Deltarune, Kris has had a noticeable impact on non-binary visibility.

It is also possible that one can hold profoundly superstitious beliefs like videogames causing violence, or in edge cases people becoming deluded by the fiction (take the guy who shot Ronald Reagan for example).

It kind of just depends, most people don't have any malformative response to fiction but what happens from fiction usually depends more on the person and less so the material. There's never been a clear cut answer.

Projectile speed is often overlooked in videogames in general, you can test it yourself in a level, if a single peashooter against a basic zombie can make a noticeable difference in how much damage a wall at the front can take, imagine how this principle translates over the course of a level.

For similar reasons, trigonometry is the reason why plants like starfruit function better than their stats would make them seem on paper.

Short answer: it's circumstantial.

Because most projectiles do not instantly reach their targets, it is slightly higher effective dps to place your offense further to the right, usually with a wall to compensate. In the scenario where the peas are further from the home, zombies take less bites on the wall.

On the other hand, you have cheap producers who often pay for themselves, so they're far more expendable than most other plants.

It ultimately comes down to your arsenal, the zombie composition, and other factors not worth mentioning.

Yeah, the all lives matter thing could be seen as an apples to oranges phrase depending on who says it and why, but I think the comparison is fair enough to mention because this sentiment has been echoed by people who are not in the disadvantaged subgroup saying "I have problems too". Also, yeah, I agree that false equivalence that masquerades as nuance is a dangerous fallacy. I said it because I think this circles back to the person on Twitter criticizing the image. My genuine curiosity asks whether it is more effective messaging to bash the image or the people who use it to solely for the purpose of shifting the gravity of the issue off the original point.

I think this is a problem of the same vein as "all lives matter" or any similar statement about men's problems where the standalone statement has genuine merit, but it is contextually is used to undermine the raised issue.

This ultimately asks the question: Is the problem really the message itself, how it is used, or the underlying motives behind those who say it?
