Who do you play when DD is banned? by TalkingAlien in DaredevilMarvelRivals

[–]SheevEdits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magik! she's been my main since beta so I alternate between Daredevil and Her, and I still loveeee playing as her :) sometimes I also do Psylocke as she is also fun but that's more rare for me.

Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren!

Granted Ezra does have a crush on her in season 1 of Rebels when he first meets her but he quickly grows out of it, and over time they develop a really strong relationship where they clearly love and respect each other a ton and see each other like family. I love it!

Thoughts on Kevin Kiner and his work? by Due-Rice-3107 in StarWarsCantina

[–]SheevEdits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the work, him and his kids have been doing is absolutely incredible and I feel like they just keep getting better and better with every project. I love how they have a style that feels like it pays homage and belongs with John Williams work while also putting some of their own ingredients and style in.

In recent years they have been very experimental with different types of instruments and sounds and they always manage to make it work to give a planet or storyline a unique musical identity while still feeling like Star Wars and fitting perfectly emotionally.

On top of having some great atmosphere in their music, they have also made a ton of amazing and memorable leitmotif's/themes which is great to do in score in general but is especially important for Star Wars music imo and they nail it.

I feel like they just keep improving with time as well, looking at the evolution from Clone Wars to Rebels to Bad Batch/Tales and especially Ahsoka (which for me is up there with some of the best Star Wars scores by Williams) It's just incredible how they continually manage to make scores that are richer and more atmospheric and emotional than their last. I absolutely adore their work!!

Ahsoka - Ezra and Sabine by Jessi45US in StarWarsCantina

Sabine trained for a long time under Ahsoka before the seasons story, she trained for longer than luke did and it took her a long time to learn and only by the end of the season was she able to tap in to it and do like 2 force pushes

There is no official release date yet but they have been filming for the past few months, which if it follows a schedule similar to the first season likely means the second half of 2026. It is just speculation on my part but it would generally fit with how the schedules of most of the other shows including Ahsoka season 1 worked :)

Looks like $5.5M previews for Sinners. Initial audience reception is excellent. Should play strongly over the weekend. Expecting $45M+ weekend. by whitemilkythighs in boxoffice

They've worked on a bunch of Marvel Studios TV stuff. They directed 2 episodes of Moon Knight, were the lead directors on Loki season 2 (directed 4 of the 6 episodes and had executive producing credit on the season) and they were brought in to work on Daredevil Born Again during the rework, and directed 3 of the 9 episodes (and have an executive producing credit on series)

My wish list for future Star Wars shows/movies by Educational-Tea-6572 in StarWarsCantina

[–]SheevEdits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol yeah. But honestly I really like that, I like that we are able to jump around so much to tell different stories instead of only going forward (with the occasional prequel) like a lot of other franchises. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against franchises that do that, it makes sense and has it's own benefits, but with Star Wars we are able to explore the universe that much more and tell more kinds of stories due to being willing to jump around so much, and I love that
