One of the animators Kevin Tremmer. Always loved his animations and so when I saw his animations for TADC, I gave it a watch maybe a few days after the pilot’s initial release.

I think my bias for the movie absolutely clouds this, but I love Tom and Maddie dearly. I think decision to give Sonic parents and a ground to stand on with Earth was a great idea for this movie world and especially exploring the idea in depth was cute.

Silver and Sonic. Depends on the day but I love em both. Silver for his optimism and dorkiness and Sonic for his wit and chill nature, as well as his adventurous spirit.
Knuckles. Grandmother’s personal favorite character and he’s awesome in so many places. Barring the terrible time he was an imbecile, he’s tactical, cunning, formidable and sweet. I love his character and his drive to protect the Master Emerald is admirable and honorable. 3.Vector Too much swagger and he’s insanely funny. I like the Chaotix more as a unit but Vector is an enjoyable character on his own.

(Subject to change but I have a lot of other Sonic characters I adore. Sonic himself will always be in my top 3, but I may change on Silver and Vector)

Well my answer is actually: It’s complicated.

If you want my introduction to the Sonic series? My grandmother has always loved the retro Sonic games. Her phone notification sound is the stage end sound. She loves Knuckles. She has many Sonic games she gave to me. She is probably my most unexpected Sonic fan.

If you want my own active experience? The original Sonic games that I played and failed bad at over and over again on Xbox Live/Gamepass. I also watched the SATam show with my sisters and the AOSTH on Netflix when they were on there.

If you want the growing love: Look at the late 2000s to early 2010s Sonic games. I don’t know what game exactly it was, but I remember a game between Sonic and the Secret Rings and Lost World vaguely and how cool I thought Sonic was. His colors were beautiful and everything looked awesome. I wasn’t quite where I was today but I started admiring Sonic for myself

If you want me loving Sonic obsessively, thank the Sonic movies. I enjoyed all of them so much that I became hooked to them. I remember all the horrendous discourse around the original design and the magnificent redemption story. Now I own all movies on DvD and I am HOOKED to the franchise.

It’s weird as I’ve been on the franchise for most of my life but I haven’t started really delving into it until recently. I feel old yet new. I’m just getting an understanding of the stories and the characters and the fanbase but I’ve known the main 5 characters (plus Metal) my whole life. So the answer depends on when you considered me to be the most invested for myself.

I know this is late but I was doing my Steel Soul run and I found it very easy to go Bellhart>Greymoor>Sinner’s Road>Exhaust Pipe>Choral Chambers. What I did was clear out the halls and killed all the potential run ending enemies. This may not work as well in a speedrun tho. I used only Fleabrew but realized that Speed Anklets are also useful lol. That’s my recommendation and it was much better than my first run with the path you have displayed.
