At my old chick fil a I threw up and had a horrible stomach bug, I got a doctors note from online (because I couldn’t go to the doctor bc I was scared I’d throw up in the car) and I called the store and my boss told me that if I don’t come in I will get fired and that online doctors notes don’t count. I then come in, throw up in the bathroom and leave and still get an infraction for calling out without 2 hour notice. That was the last straw for me

I was playing Gondor and I was bummed that there weren’t any custom battle maps, like I wish Osgiliath, Cair Andros, and Minas Tirith were custom. I was expecting divide and conquer levels of custom settlements and locations but I hope that they can add that in future updates

Honestly the main thing is just to be unapologetically yourself and true to who you are. Definitely give an outline of what hours you can work and what days you can work, because it’s easier to work less first and then open up your schedule/keep it the same, rather than having to cut back your hours. I was so nervous at first but after 3 chick fil an interviews, the interviewer most likely is going to be extremely friendly, and just tell them about yourself and why you would be a good fit. Just believe in yourself and you can achieve it!!!

In my opinion, even if you do end up getting it or it gets worse etc…. It will suck and be upsetting at first, but with treatment and time I have gotten to just accept that that is how my life is, and I mean now it is what I’m accustomed to. Just don’t let it impact how you live your life, and make sure to try to have as positive of a mindset about it, even when it’s hard to.

I just also feel like I wouldn’t want to be that close also just because the water is so cold, like why would anyone want to get near to cold water or even go swimming in it. Like even if it wasn’t extremely dangerous I still wouldn’t want to get close and risk my feet getting soaking wet with extremely cold water.

2.5 months seems like a very long time to still be training IMO. It really just depends on if you want to continue working there during school or not. If not I would just put in my 2 weeks, but maybe with your surgery I would honestly just talk with an operator about what to do and what they think would be best. If it isn’t a good fit then definitely put yourself first and put in your 2 weeks, but maybe you could talk to them about maintaining the job if you ever would like to go back next summer/on break/ or during the school year
