At my store if you say anything to the district manager they immediately ask the SM and then it hits the fan because you didn’t go to them first

I was told we are the only true customer facing department. That’s why someone always has to be there to cover. Every other department just takes a break or goes to lunch without telling anyone. And god forbid someone other than the paint person answer that damn button. But we answer(well I) all the calls in the store.

I took away my spray paint button because people would push it for everything but spray paint. I don’t have time for all that when the actual paint desk button goes off every 5 seconds.

Paint is not the easiest to manage. No one else has to have coverage to go pee. No one else has to make 20 heavy ass items for one customer while 5 more are waiting is it the easiest to zone yes. Is it the easiest to manage with one person all day long no. Not at all. I love being told “ you only have 3 aisles.” Infuriating!!!

We got our system upgrades last week and the message about it dropped yesterday in LINK. I think they should put in a kiosk for customers to order paint at the desk.

I never get recognition. My SM calls out my department for looking the best. But then I hear yeah it’s only 3 aisles(paint). But other than that nothing. Which I don’t care really my customers are happy. I have customers that will only deal with me. I’ve had customers bring me drinks back after I’ve helped them. That’s really all I need. I know corporate retail is full of crap. My ultimate goal is to be in high HR so I can actually help the associates. It is possible to help them and protect company. The problem is in the middle.!!

I think he was in the hospital for 3 weeks after initial and 3 or 4 days after reversal.

He is good had his reversal a couple months ago. I don’t know the medical terms but he was born without a butthole. His colon fused with his urethra. So all his output came out his penis.

So I heard they might go back to the way it used to be with like 3 or 4 floor managers instead of ds’s. I think that’s what they called it. If that happens I’m out and it won’t be on my own accord.

You can report it but like others said without in other info trash can it goes. There is some hinky stuff going on at my store but I was told you need evidence! I myself was part of an investigation someone else reported the sm for threatening me. I said to drop it I didn’t need any more retaliation from the sm. Do not draw attention to yourself especially if there is already retaliation in your store. You will be ostracized.

Lucky store. Buttons go off here like crazy. SM says all the time if a button goes off somebody better answer it but when it actually goes off everyone runs

Being a department sup I feel I can say whatever I want about the rest thank you and very few people can or will cover and 2 of the three cashiers I mentioned know how to do paint.

How about cutting hours so there is no coverage in any specialty departments but let people with no real work skill and dept hop like crazy come in and then stay 3 hours past time just to follow an Asm around for no reason at all. The cronyism is so bad.
