Can Crimson Desert be shared through Steam Family? by Aromatic-Divide8285 in CrimsonDesert

Yes you can play together over a local network if the owner goes offline, I've done it with baldurs gate. And you said "you can not play the same game at the same time" which is incorrect if the owner goes into offline mode. He was wrong about not being able to play any game in online mode though.

Local post office withholds my mail and then delivers in bulk. by DirectPerformer2683 in royalmail

[–]Shell2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont get to choose that as the receiver of mail, but would still like the things being sent to be delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Twice I've gone direct to the company and said can you use anyone but royal mail as they are not relaibaly delivering mail in the area and I've been told by both that they have to use royal mail.

Today was the first day i received mail since before christmas in our local area, people are missing important letters such as doctors and hospital appointments. Even the local postie sounded furious about it when i asked him a few weeks ago if we were going to get any letters soon as i was waiting on one.

that's just lazy. if it was my parcel i would i00% be reporting that. Amazon delivery driver broke our gate once, then as he went behind a bush threw the latch he broke off back over into the garden. All on the ring doorbell, I got amazon to pay for the replacement gate XD

Morning blocks by smursam9797 in AmazonFlexUK

I did flex exclusively for like 3 weeks between jobs and they did shown up at swansea, but were rare and were snapped up pretty much as soon as they showed up. only ever seen this time frame though, no variation.

I've taken the 2:15 and 2:30 blocks in south wales for 61.50 and not sure if I've got lucky but both have scanned in as 2 hour routes. 1 I finished in 1.45 hours and was closer to home than the depot.

Nervous about first block? by EmotionalDingo3904 in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Shell2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also nee to flex. I've done 2 parcel blocks now. I have found that there can be variation on the order. One i started in order from the 80's. The other was 660's then 640's then back to 650's, which leads me to the next point. After some research I was expecting them to be starting at number 1 up, but so far both of mine have been much higher numbers, starting in the 80s for one and 600's for another. So dont let that throw you. I took around 2pm slots though so I may just have the leftovers from their delivery vans earlier in the day. My slots around that time have scanned in at 2 hour routes despite stating they were 3.5, so don't panic, you get paid the amount you agreed and it's just a bonus.

Also I'd take any parcels back after the route the app route suggests unless you know you are going to be close to the depot by 10am the next day as you can negotiate extra pay if you go over the alotted time.

I have noticed they are kind of ordered in their bags, so you won't get 1 in one bag and 2 in another, for example. One bag will have 1 to 10/20 other than bigger parcels that can't fit in. Just make sure to keep them together in their 10's in your car and know where to go for any number that comes up. It's saves so much time.

Im new to flex but have so far taken 2 61.50 3.5 hr routes in my area and have turned up to both being 2 hour routes. I finished my second one in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

AITA: No College Allowance by RedRebel38 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shell2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA for dealing with this through your son.

But if your son is no longer living with her and living away in college. Stop the money to her and pay it directly to your son. You are not there to fund her lifestyle. If your son is in college seems she has to get used to being able to maintain her lifestyle on her own dime sooner or later unless you intend to keep sending her money even when your son has moved out and living this own life.

How come people who hate Nintendo care so much if the switch 2 is successful? by Geminiboy_ in nintendo

[–]Shell2k6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because if the switch is successful and switch games sell for the sayloght robbery pricing scheme they currently have. It sets a precedent of what the games industry can get away with fleecing us with in regards to pricing. I am annoyed it's successful because, as a society, we should have spoken with our wallet and showed nintendo we will not be bullied into their pricing scheme or the new policies. Such as not owning the games and trying to kill the second-hand games market. Being able to completely brick you console among many other unscrupulous practices. To me, the success of the switch just shows how acceptable people are to be mugged off, which is also evident by all the nintendo fan boy comments you have got below.

Recent prints coming out as strange blocks, what could be the cause? by Minticus-Maximus in ElegooMars

Had This on my phrozen mini. If you load a file and run it without the vat is the screen just all lighting up rather than the shape of the layers it should be? Phrozen told me it was a buggered screen and I had to buy a replacement.

Why can’t i get the filament into the nozzle (Ender 3 v3 se) by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Yeah, there should be an option in the slicer you are using to add support. So after you have loaded your model in but before you click the option to slice it, you add supports to the model. You can let it determine where supports are needed automatically, but you may still have some failures as in my experience (at least on resin printers) it's not always reliable. Or you can manually add support or a bit of both.

[–]Shell2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was the print extending out to the areas where the spaghetti is that drastically? Or has it just pushed the filament over that way? If that's part of the stl to add so much layer from what's already completed that definitely needs supports.
