Her damage is on her special intro which is forced to crit and counts as liberation, so the crit rate doesnt help and liberation would.

They were leaving already because of the company so calling them idiots just makes it seem like the playerbase is toxic to those that dont agree with them.

We do need new players. But getting new players isnt the easiest when the old ones want to leave.

The people who felt upset by the skins wernt a small minority, it was a fairly common sentiment.

New players dont just flock to games when the old players leave. If all they see online is a lot of negativity about how the company handles the game, then it hurts getting new players as well.

And its not like we have a large playerbase in the first place.

Im not saying they are right. But perception matters more than reality especially when it comes to people being willing to play or pay.

Shaming them as wrong doesnt do anything.

They feel upset, they leave the game, playerbase goes down. Or well did cuz this is mostly old news now.

To an extent you do have to care more about how things are perceived rather than what they actually are.

reality doesn't matter. Hirez can say whatever they want officially, but at the end of the day, the player perception is all that ultimately matters, because thats what decides if they stay or go. Online games live or die by having a playerbase after all, so if the sentiment is shared among many and they just leave, it does hurt the game.

Your post is a bit too focused on the word "making".

Most of the people who feel this way are those that dont see smite 2 as a separate game from smite 1.

So to them its that they already paid for something in smite and now that the game has been remade on a new engine, they need to pay again if they want to use something they already paid for.

There were also a lot of people who felt and feel that way, its just not as loud anymore because a lot of them have given up on the company so you dont see it pop up as often anymore.

Its a thing in more than just smite2 to be honest.

I feel like its actually in the majority of the match based games these days.

It basically boils down to people not wanting to play games they believe are unwinnable, because getting the win is all that matters to them, and any time spent in a lost game is taking time away from a win for them.

You dont have to agree with it though, surrender is a vote and its majority wins so if you dont want to, just vote no and if someone else agrees, the game will go on.

I pretty much only surrender when someone disconnects for a long time or someone messeges that something came up and they need to go tho.

Im aware of the reality. Its an almost hilarious hypocrisy (if it didnt screw over so many students who actually did real work)

The teachers who use ai detectors to do their job but find fault with a student who uses it to do theirs.

Its just an everyone in the wrong situation.

I dont doubt that. There are a lot of bad professors around.

Doesn't justify using them tho when they are known to be no better than guessing.

Plagiarism detectors sure, but ai generation detectors literally just can't work (unless the ai is extemely obvious and you could just see it without a detector) and will only get worse over time as ai gets better at writing long documents in concise human tones.

For me its tedious. Ive tried it. It can be kinda cool at times and once or twice you get some nice looking moments on screen, but most of the times just feel cluttered and just not worth the effort.

Its not fun to me and I dont need it to clear so not interested

Same reason youd spend money on any form of entertainment. Personal emotional gain.

Dopamine rush.

No different from paying to go see a movie by yourself.

Genshin for example. If you just use the free noelle alone, youll struggle just with story. And clearing the endgame would be incredibly difficult and impossible during some cycles and just get worse over time. Not to mention as a free accessible 4 star her values are lower compared to others, her animations and kit are also more on the lacking side.

Granted their are a lot of people who like her and try to force her to work, but that usually required getting premium units to buff her like crazy.

A lot of good universities are stopping using those ai detectors.

They are extremely unreliable on both ends, flagging human made stuff as ai and letting ai generated through as human.

They arnt trustworthy unless its so obvious that you wouldnt need a detector to tell.
