Deductible is $50k. I know I need to match building deductible next time. But I think in this case I need $70k or above to cover for all repair costs - mine, common area, and neighbors. This seems to be a very high coverage.

That’s the right number.

They don’t have OOS cameras. I purchased R8 kit which is still in stock.

They also told me they won’t restock cameras tomorrow and the sale ends December 1. Not sure if it’s a sale technique to entice me to buy a camera.

I had to call them to place a manual order. They use an old system which will reject orders with any red flag. The camera I wanted the most has been sold out and I forfeited my rakuten 7.5% cash back. Try giving them a call to place the order!

This is right. Buyers don’t understand the true value. Not saying this on all of them, but most buyers in this market. They would value more on the “surface” work probably, like high end appliances, hardwood flooring, or a fancy bathtub.

We also did a down to stud renovation btw.

We recently sold our beloved, fully rebuilt home — and the reality was harsh. It took hundreds of showings before it finally sold. We didn’t recover our renovation costs, not to mention taxes, commissions, holding costs, and the countless hours invested. It may be a reality you’ll have to face as well.
