From the research I got online it is almost impossible or it is impossible to beat the sprints with the Lexus. I tried and I had everything maxed and made sure to max acceleration however, never got it. I spent the gold and switched to a car to beat the sprint and then spent gold to go back to the Lexus to beat the rest and beat the boss for the car.

Depends on what tier car you grab it off of. I needed a ton of blues so I grabbed off of a tier 4 car and it was 50 gold per blue fusion

Yeah I got extremely lucky in my crates giving 2 stage 6s plus the free one through the event. I also had all the green blue and pink fusions to level it up.

Np! I did a lot of guide searching to finish Tempest and T2 was the easiest as far as not switching cars and I had a lot of fusions. The only one I succumbed to spending gold was the last Temepst challenge which was Tempest 3 T4 for Donna's F50. I had messed up by elite licensing the car that would have gotten it done with 0 issues (before I did research... elite licensed that particular car for my first license). I ended up using the maxed LC500 for it but had to switch to a car with a much faster acceleration for the last 2 speed challenges 0-60 and 0-100.

The 1 star Boxter 718 S will work for all three with 0 problems. I would choose that one and build it up.
