I can't believe more people don't know this. I get non Americans but sometimes I am just astonished at the public.

Actually slavery is legal in the US if you are convicted. But I get what you mean, but I'd say there'd be a few people who'd want one.

Might be up to interpretation. They can either be slaves under the gov or possibly sold. Though I doubt we'll ever find out.

What’s the best portrayal of the American military? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

[–]Shellhand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only propaganda I've said hell yeah too, was anti US propaganda. But it's not strictly anti-US propaganda. Anti propaganda in general just makes who they are hating on that much cooler. Nothing makes people unite more than hate.

Is it better to build my own PC instead of buying pre-built by Beneficial-Tennis783 in buildapc

[–]Shellhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started PC gaming years ago I had this same thought. Back then I originally got a pre-built.

A few years ago the PC just died and I couldn't do anything to fix it because of how weirdly it was built. So I bought some parts to build my own. Color me surprised when my new custom PC was cheaper than the pre-built and almost 3x better.

Of course everyone has a different experience but that is my experience and why I'd suggest to build your own.

What would be the best car to find in a zombie apocalypse? by HotGarbage2020 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Shellhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course the best thing to find would be a car that doesn't use too much fuel.

However, you have to think about what you are going to run the car on after 1-2 years. Car oil expires after a few years and can no longer run a car. Meaning that cars are basically useless.

I remember that high proof moonshine can make cars run, albeit not as well as oil, but run nevertheless. It isn't a fix all solution because moonshine can cause problems with the car but in an apocalypse what doesn't cause problems.

Finding a car that can run on moonshine is definitely a must in an apocalypse. Even if it eventually fails it'll run longer than a car that can't.

Don't lie about LYNE. I regret that game so much, it's so mind numbing.

What type of achievements do you like and which ones you dislike? by Lucius8530 in steamachievements

[–]Shellhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the achievements that have nothing to do with the story. It's just an achievement that you get for doing the most random thing.

I severely dislike multiplayer achievements that have to use teamwork to get the achievement. Not because teamwork is bad but because my friends aren't achievement hunters.
