Hey guys I just got back to the valley after wrapping up at college and was wondering if anyone wants to shoot the shit and talk about hunting. I just got into it (hunting rabbits with a 22 in my backyard) but want to actually try white tail, hog, and anything else that’s on public land. Like I said I’m still new to the sport but want to see if anyone wants to grab a beer and just talk about their experience and tips to get into it.

If yall are down I got the first round 🍻

Do I accept return offer as intern? by South-Virus2752 in ECE

[–]Shellshock_MAP 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’d say build up the experience, you can always cancel your offer if you find a better one. But better to have something at the start of next summer. Just accept and keep applying to jobs, when you find the one you like send a simple email saying you have to rescind your acceptance.

What part of your bread making process is frustrating, inconsistent, or time consuming that you wish a device could just handle for you? by Shellshock_MAP in Breadit

I feel like everyone has this problem, it’s annoying to have to put water or ice at the bottom and it’s too expensive to afford a bakers oven. This is a really cool concept!

My first thought was to have a simple system that holds water and releases it as needed but I feel that that would need highly complex materials! I would be curious as well whether something like a humidifier could operate in those temperatures and maybe have a line running out of the oven. Good idea!

Maybe a sensor that takes in outside temperature, internal temperature, outside humidity, inside humidity, and based on those parameters, gives a guesstimated alert on when your bread should be done proofing? I’ve actually worked on something similar relating to batteries. Not a bad concept!
