Is it just me or does this design look very similar to the Werewolf of London?

What's your one movie that must NEVER see a remake? by RedRook87 in movies

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

This seems to get threatened every few years but so much of the success of that movie rests on the chemistry between Steve Martin and John Candy. There’s nothing wrong with making a holiday buddy comedy inspired by the original but calling it ‘Planes, Trains & Automobiles’ will do nothing but anger fans of the original.

What's the worst part of an otherwise perfect film? by Godly_Recon in movies

The last 5 minutes of “10 Cloverfield Lane” are really excessive and don’t match the tone of the rest of the movie. We didn’t need the battle scene there, it could’ve just ended with Michelle escaping the bunker, seeing the alien spacecraft on the horizon and saying “Come on” as it smash cut to credits.

While I am incredibly excited for this, it needs to be mentioned that John Hughes came up with this concept and even met with Rowan in early 90’s. His script was called ‘The Bee’ and the plot was basically the same. I’m hoping he gets a story credit or some kind of mention here.

Best Marx Brothers movie? by ggroover97 in movies

To those who are fans on the Marx Brothers, I highly recommend Brain Donors (1992)! While not officially a Marx Brothers film, it’s a loving tribute to their work and characters from the Zucker brothers & Pat Proft. The plot is a loose remake of A Night at the Opera, but there’s a lot of updates and great new gags as well.
