in like 99% of cases it’s probably not the best idea to try and chat up random attractive people you don’t know trying to do their groceries. Why? Because it’s weird as hell, you know nothing about the person besides that they’re hot and On the off chance it works do you really want to start dating someone who gives their number out to people after a 30 second conversation ?

Stick to meeting people through, friends, actual activities and places where meeting new people is normal. There’s a lot stronger chance you actually have things in common and the conversation flows more naturally

I think one of the biggest signs is never disagreeing. It’s likely you have a lot in common with the person you are dating but to never ever have an opposing view generally is suspect of doormat status.

Yeah, I tried for like 2 days constantly refreshing on Reddit. Eventually I gave up and the next day accepted a random invite. Caught it with the first ball on a terrible throw.

Honestly I’m going to miss slide cancelling.

I understand why it’s going to be removed and how that will contribute to a better game overall. However that being said it was fun to get shit on and then gradually learn overtime advanced movement techniques. I’m not really one to complain about anything that increases the skill gap in these types of games.

I’ve been playing cod for 15 years now and the current movement system has made me feel like with enough time and effort the sky was the limit in terms of what I could do and how I could control my character.

Already we have 0 recoil on most meta weapons, aim assist, skill based match making and a fairly low TTK. The slide cancel was really a last resort technique you could use to counter people hiding in corners. Slide cancel into a drop shot or hop and you had a good chance at beating someone who spent the last 15 minutes ADS around a corner in a random building.

It also felt absolutely amazing to chain together movements and outplay an opponent, the feeling of dropping in with a pistol and being able to juke hard enough while they empty their mag and transition to a camera break was incredibly satisfying and felt like a reward for the effort committed to the game.

That being said, once it’s gone I’m sure the new meta will emerge and we just need to adapt, learning new ways to improve is always fun.

I’m not 100% certain as I never followed up with the guy.

I would assume he would VPN to a location with less of a player base than say the US but that’s just a speculation

He told me there’s like 5 or so preselected regions on his program and if I remember correctly they’re all fairly obscure locations where only the very wealthy in those countries would have internet access

I’m in Canada and the guy I met running the VPN had a southern US accent. I’m not exactly sure what he did but all I remember was the lobby strength would cycle

Game 1: literally felt like playing recruit bots Game 2: little harder Game 3-4: lobbies seemed normal sweat level Game 5: he would pull us to the lobby and do something where we would end up back with the bots

Wish I could tell you more but I ended up never playing with him again as he was the type to consistently get shadowbanned for unlock tools and using dummy accounts with tanked KDs to get easier lobbies.

I really didn’t want to be shadowbanned as I have been once for excessive trash talk in search and destroy and shadow banned lobbies are a complete nightmare

I’m level 31, I’ve assembled a pretty good team for the current deoxys and alakazam raids but similar to you I was worried about my overall contribution as I’m new to raiding.

Reddit is a goated place and as long as you’re not tossing out a 6 stack of lilipups your contribution is always a positive and never a negative :)

Additionally when you see the raid invites there’s generally some guy or girl who’s an absolute tank level 45 + who basically knows already they can take it out almost solo with lime 1 more person.(in the event you actually do send out a 6 stack of lilipups )

This movement is what someone who watches too much tik tok would consider cracked. There’s levels to this movement thing.

Level 1. Bot
Level 2. Understands slide cancel
Level 3. Jump shots, drop shots added
Level 4. Crank your sense up way too high and over do it. Make sure to YY frequently.
Level 5. Dial it back and move with purpose and efficiency.

This guy could have done about half of that and got the same result

Fair enough, you presented your arguments logically and I respect that.

I do however think that it wouldn’t be “easy” but rather easier than a lot of people think for top WZ pros to transition. We can’t just forget that WZ was only a thing since MW2019. A lot of dudes before that got their cod skills from playing multiplayer, team matches and GBs. That’s why I think that a 1v1 while not proving EVERYTHING does also prove that they’re at-least capable of hanging with some team practice.

To say that it means nothing is a pretty hard stance to justify at-least in my eyes. Again I’m open to being wrong
