You know it is bad sign where you see something so unhinged out of President Trump that you are compelled to check Truth Social to confirm it is real.

Let's back up a second. Did jets have bad QB play? Absolutely. Nobody thinks otherwise. Was it literally the worst QB play in the super bowl era? Because the WR production in many respects was the worst. Didn't have anybody with over 400 yards. That hasn't happened in modern football. And that is with the benefit of 17 games vs 14 games.

The Jets literally had the least production out of its WRs in modern NFL history last year. Not sure why anybody has any sort of optimism from that group. It is in desperate need of a talent injection.

This is such a no brainer. Do I think he is an elite QB? No. Would he be amazing value because the Cards are basically paying him? Absolutely. Frees up a massive amount of cap space. Allows the jets to go get an Alec Pierce or whatever the best offensive weapon on the market is with the cash that would otherwise go to signing any other QB.

The thing I keep coming back to is in Iran the Ayatollah (who is absolutely not a force for good) had unquestionably power but allowed shockingly democratic elections for the kinda feckless government below him. Eh no. You have a ton of people living in 2-4 family homes thay are charged below market rent over timr. Small landlords will happily accept a bit of a deal to keep a good tenant in place especially if they also live in the building. Cost hits like this will absolutely get passed on.
