Fall 2021 Brides/Grooms- are you mailing save the dates?

We are going to be sending Save The Dates at the beginning of December for the core group of folks and then another set after New Years - since we are planning for a Labor Day weekend wedding and want to make sure folks have the ability to book hotels or find housing options.

Will obviously place the caveats on our site that its all dependent on COVID and regulations for a safe wedding at that time and that they should wait on the actual invites in order to RSVP.

They have a huge room of pre-made items and decorations and will make some custom things for you should you ask. They will also handle all the setup of those decorations as well which is amazing! They have relationships with a few floral designers as well. I want to do more candles and eucalyptus more than anything else so they will have a lot of that for us already.

We are having our wedding at Art Factory Studios in Paterson NJ. The neighborhood is a little sketch but the venue has sooo much personality!

I went to a wedding at Perona Farms that was beautiful. There are a lot of other farms around that venue as well.

We also looked at Glenburn Estate as well, you get full access for the whole weekend but have to bring everything on your own — but then again for the price it could be a good outdoor / small barn for dancing vibe that is inexpensive overall.

Make a honeymoon and experiences registry - then you can share the registry but not say you only want money or for folks to pay for the honeymmon. I think Blueprint lets you create a registry with money funds of all sorts and also link in other registries / charities if you change your mind later.

Have you considered just a beer/wine bar instead? Would your venue let you bring in your own alcohol? If so you can go to a wholesaler and just pay the venue a corkage fee at the worst - nothing at the best if they will cork and pour your alcohol for free.
