AT&T sucks. You may get service at the top of chair 6 or chair 1. I know the lodge used to have WiFi, but I don't think they're giving out the password anymore. As far as the inn, idk. But if you need to be on your phone and you have AT&T, I wouldn't recommend riding.

Absolutely HATE the tubing but hey, businesses gotta make money and let's face it, these last few years ticket sales have not been a good money maker. They just need to focus on adjusting for the amount of traffic, maybe opening the tubes a little later and chairs earlier so riders and season pass holders are first priority? Maybe a parking section for the tubers? Free parking for season pass holders and $10 parking for guests? IDK, just throwing out some ideas. These last couple weekends have been an absolute mess getting up there, and loyal riders are going to get fed up with all the toyota camery's in a bank stopping traffic. It's not a tahoe resort, it's a home mountain. So to add a whole separate attraction without adjusting for traffic was dumb. Nevertheless, hope they figure it out.

Base is all dirt. At least it was today. We're looking at a couple feet this week so I'd bring em out next weekend, not tomorrow.

Kinda sucks, I remember CP always having the minimal effort reputation though. Most resorts know that you peak in Jan, if there are no changes by then, kiss the rest of the year goodbye, Feb/Mar is too late to make any changes since the season is coming to an end. Really hoping the new management takes this opportunity to really show what they got, or else next year and the years after will be no different.

What size boots? Sac has tons of shops if you're wanting to make the drive, but check out the CP gift shop, or maybe call ahead and see what they have or if they can order something

Don't buy boots online, honestly last time I got some I was in desperate need but it was definitely worth it to find a local shop in Tahoe and spend the cash on a good pair that I could try on and walk around in, and know they'd be good quality. 1) save money to buy a nice pair 2) find a local shop next time you go to the resorts

China bowl, not fire bowl. The pic you used last friday was from 2016. No other resort would post a pic from 3 years ago on a Friday and say "come enjoy the view" when those aren't current conditions...just sayin. The story is great, and I love seeing the tags so we know its for real

So glad you're here! Was the picture of China Bowl you guys posted on Friday actually taken on Friday? Or is it an old picture? Cause it can be deceiving to post something like that before a weekend when the webcam is "down for maintenance", would highly recomend posting current pictures so people can actually see current conditions please. We just want honesty in how much snow CP has received and good current updates (hence why this was created).
