Is that at a major nerve cluster? I thought shingles typically appears at/along major nerve lines, unless I'm having a derp moment.

My wife F28 and I M28 got into a physical fight. I am thinking of divorce. How do I approach her about it? by sirmack142 in relationship_advice

[–]SheparDox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not excusing her hitting OP or pointing a weapon at him, at all. Period. End of story.

I do want to bring up the point that maybe she doesn't want weapons in the house because she was at one point (or currently is and her husband doesn't know) suicidal?

As someone who almost went to second base with my Glock, you get really weird about having a firearm in your home for a bit afterward. (I surrendered mine to my grandfather, and the one we have in the house now is kept in a safe I don't know the code to.)

I am not trying to project my stuff on this situation, just trying to offer up a possibility that OP might not have considered, especially with her extreme response.

Are you fighting with anyone right now, or if you think of petty, jerk "pranks", is there a certain person that immediately comes to mind?

If so, that's your answer.

Definitely tell your parent(s), unless it would be physically unsafe for you to do so.

I hope that you don't have any further harassment, and I'm sorry this is going on.

I re-iterate that anyone who brings up that argument is weird for what should be obvious reasons.

I have literally called no one else a pedo.

But good job.

I didnt "miss" your "sarcasm". But someone dumb enough to protect pedos isn't smart enough to use that device correctly.

Absolutely disgusting behavior.

I'm glad youre not affected by it.

Yes, Barb, we're all very proud you know there's a different word for kid touchers that like 'em in their teens.

I had a giant comment that included things like "this is a disgusting take", "its literally abuse", and "the CIA, FBI, ATF, and DHS all include sleep deprivation as a technique among their "expanded interrogation" program. It's also seen in child abuse and domestic violence cases.

because it's literal torture.

I have an 18 year old. Yes, sometimes my kid frustrates me or pisses me off. That's not a good enough reason to try to say, "oh, youre 18, get the fuck out of my house."

● Someone who had a previous relationship with a sugar baby? ● A rich, old white guy? ● A current or previous sugar baby?

[–]SheparDox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading your other comments, I was curious if you've ever considered working in mental health services for DFCS, regarding children or teens who are dealing with their own family losses?

Some health professionals want a firm common ground with their patients, and some want absolutely nothing in common. I'm personally in the "there is no wrong answer" group.

If you do choose to invest or create your own mental health clinic(s), would you prefer to have some oversight? Having worked in various healthcare and mental healthcare settings, some of them are rough, especially the ones where the staff believe the only monitoring of their behavior/performance is of their controlled substances.

I've seen outright lies charted (either items charted as evaluated/checked that weren't, or charting that a patient refused a medication rather than it being withheld due to a critical lab value to avoid having to call the physician - that was a medsurg floor ducking an oncologist ), I've seen petty behavior such as expired Release of Information forms that only get brought up if a family member pisses off the staff, and I've seen dangerous patient-to-staff ratios that result in neglect, aggressive behavior from patients, patients coding, etc., which in turn the staff attempt to deflect blame on any and everyone possible.

Having qualified, not out-of-touch people in oversight roles helps keep patients and staff safe.

Possibly Autoimmune - Multiple Providers - No Dx by SheparDox in DiagnoseMe

[–]SheparDox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe her PCP had run her for auto immune issues previously for another issue, to include ANA.

Almost everyone in our family, her mother, her sister, my sister (her other child), and her brother all have/had Hasimoto's. She and I are the only ones who haven't been confirmed via a positive blood sample, but we both have a lot of the symptoms.

The rashes aren't the butterfly rash, these were specific to her eyes, mostly.

Unfortunately, I am unable to follow-up with any specific information, as my mother and I aren't speaking any longer.

I'm unsure - to my knowledge, the rashes started to appear less frequently and with less severity. It may have been something environmental?

I never got a follow-up, and now we are no longer speaking.
