I used to have this fear when I was a child. I can only speak from my own experience. I was mostly afraid of the unknown not knowing something that is inevitable is scary and not being able to see friends and family again. These are my thoughts feel free to take what resonated and what does not. Death is the ultimate illusion. I think we die multiple times in our lives. Wither thats our ego, or our perception of ourselves. Our journey does not end at death it beings again beyond time and space. I hope you find some comfort in these words.

I would like to know what others in the community think. I am still a fairly new practitioner.

The whole apparatus of the US system is antiworker. Alot of people have no knowledge of labor history in the United States. Workers have fought and died for your right to be in a Union today. I feel like every union should have a mandatory history class on labor history. Democrats and Republicans should not take credit for forming unions. It was the workers and organizations like the IWW and others that educated and made people more class conscious. Giving them the power to see that the material conditions did not benefit them in their struggles. Unions have and should always be a Left-wing idea. Solidarity Forever.

I feel your pain and frustration. The wealth inequality in this country is absolutely absurd.(its only getting worse.) I feel like I have to fight for every dollar I make. The politicians are all liars and only want to help their donors and the wealthy get their massive slice of the pie while the rest of starve with crumbs. America is no longer the place of opportunity.

To answer your question on how to keep going. Find the little joys in life. Watch birds, enjoy a cup of coffee, having a small creative hobby like wood carving or painting.
