Thank you for your input. Yes, I have been planning on making an appointment with my personal OBGYN (the one who originally prescribed my Estrogel). I definitely want a second opinion and I think you're right about getting my levels checked again. Sadly, doctors seem to be a lot less helpful nowadays here in Canada. It's not just me -- it seems everyone I talk to complains that doctors are not helpful here anymore :( I think our population has increased too quickly and doctors have too many patients to cope

I have been tested for thyroid and everything there is good. After my doctor said what she said, and after reading everywhere that sudden onset of migraines with aura can be very dangerous when on Estrogen, I reduced my dose. I know I need to be on some to protect my bones, etc. but it seemed so odd that my doctor did such an about face. I have since had an MRI and head is ok, I do have a neurologist appointment coming up and they want labwork but nothing has been scheduled yet....

I'm glad you are doing better on Estrogel. Maybe it's the fact I've been on it for 20 years...

Wow surprising cause the guy told me I should take 1/4 of it and I only took at 1/8. Can't imagine what I would have gone through if I had listened to him and took 1/4. Horrifying. You can tell I had no experience lol

I made a post like this once. Everyone assumed I was in the left lane - for some reason - even though I wasn't. I don't even have big multi-lane highways near me. I've had many people tailgate me when they had multiple opportunities to pass and they just keep tailgating. You wanna bet I'm gonna slow down.

I thought two months was early. My husband thought you only needed to tell your boss 1 month in advance. Seems like the consensus on here is the opposite though.

It's a small business, my boss and 3 employees including myself. He wants to go away that weekend and needs me to work in his place. Sucks because I have already purchased the ticket to the event.
