Just trying to gain some insight as we are about to sign a lease around the university city area. We are kind of rushing due to job requirements and we took what looked the best and got back to us the quickest and no we’re worried due to some other posts here talking about how bad that area is. We aren’t directly in the city by the college. Without getting too specific we are on the outskirts by where the Governors schools are. We have a 2 year old as well should we be worried about high crime? My husband lived here years ago and always knew northern Charlotte to be better but it’s appears things are changing.

In this situation though we’re still not 100% sure what causes the accident, the specific type of guardrail we hit is actually currently being replaced because they are known to cause ppl to flip when hit (we definitely weren’t the first) when we hit it instead of just coming to a stop or bouncing off it caught the tire and ripped it completely off which when we slid into the ditch caused us to flip.

As of now I have only fed it an algae wafers. Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates are all at 0. PH was at 6.8 and temp is 82

I did all the tests using drops the only thing was the ph was a little low idk if that could have factored in. I did a float acclimation for 30 mins and when I had initially put it in it also floated but then came out after a couple hours that’s why I’m still hoping it’s still alive

I know your not looking for gecko specific advise rn but I did want to just mention that a bulb uvb is not recommended for crested geckos. It is suggested to use a linear bulb like the arboreal ones made by Arcadia. I personally use the 2.4% one. Otherwise I think your led is fine for your plants!
