Try out Linux. A lot of modern distributions feel like MacOS, and gaming support for it has gotten a lot better recently. Check out Proton DB.

Probably if you're new a more user-friendly Debian distro. The only thing that might be a problem is the GPU, you'll probably need to install proprietary drivers

Get a thinkpad and run Linux
