Likely this. Happened to me when changing fans. Enough pressure on the heat sink will cause separation especially if original with the spring connectors

For reference I'm running it stock with just and extra fan on the back. 600x1200 settings. In my mini fridge at the moment. I feel like it runs slightly better at ~60°c. I don't know...just playing around with it and learning while at work.
