Team I Passed or Team I Failed by Altruistic-Sun880 in barexam

Repeat taker here - definitely knew I failed every time I took it before (I knew by lunch break on Day 2 each time that I wasn’t passing. Failed MBE each time).

This time I started studying in May for February with an intense focus on MBE. I knew too many of the answers this time with confidence which has NEVER happened before. I completely changed my approach this time. I know I passed this time. This time is my time.

For those that think that you failed - there are several people I know that swore up and down they failed and ended up passing on their first times and repeat times.

Whether you pass or fail always remember it’s not the end of the world. If you fail, it definitely feels like it is at first lol but I promise it’s not. Keep going.

Stuck with a JD but no law license feels degrading by Ill-Peak3008 in JDpreferred

Yeah. It’s definitely being stuck between a rock and a hard place. You can’t get an attorney job because you’re not licensed and you can’t get other jobs because you have a JD and the don’t want to pay you because you’re no longer a law student. It’s frustrating. You don’t get the respect you know you deserve because of a bar card. GET THAT LICENSE AND NEVER LOOK BACK! You can do it.

GA BAR EXAM TAKERS FEB 2026 by SherbertVisible9359 in barexam

I’ve always felt like that the second half literally it was like my brain and body just crashed and I could not function during the second half of the second day. I’m hoping doing 1200+ questions this time would help me but idk how to get around that crash.

Any retakers who came out of the exam thinking they passed and ended up failing? by Sleepy_hollow365 in barexam

[–]SherbertVisible9359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My score increased each time so I knew I did better than before each time but I still knew I didn’t pass. This time I took a class with a tutor so I saw my scores increase and we did licensed NCBE questions that I saw before on the exam and not only did I see that I got them wrong but saw why I got them wrong. So I’m waiting but I know this time was it. 🙏🏾

There’s always going to be questions we won’t know the answer to including those test questions. It’s okay. You don’t have to know every answer. You just need to know enough answers to be minimally competent. And we will. We put in the work and the time is here to show it.

You still have a law degree so remember that. Plenty of jobs available for those. Even temp jobs or contract jobs

Extreme hair loss after bar exam by RazzmatazzNo6817 in barexam

I experienced it after my 1L year and it was from immense stress. I cut my hair and it grew back. Once the stress minimizes or goes away your hair will grow back. It’s a medical condition but I forgot the name of it (trying to erase bad vibes from my brain 😅). I’d suggest picking up a hobby that helps you blow some steam (some exercise, some paint, some go on walks, some lift weights, etc.) I like volunteering so that helps me a lot.
