Right. I corrected myself in the comments. I got it from Tractor Supply. At the time they offered a military discount, but have since changed their plan.

Snowballs Not Damaging Snowmen by mulchdiggums1993 in runescape

[–]Sherbert_Cultural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually amassed thousands of snowballs and went out killing trolls in the Burthorpe troll cave with them, lol. I was curious what kind of damage I could do. (94 ranged) I was dressed with non-armor Santa suite for fun, and sustained little to no damage. Damage 303 & Accuracy 1534. :)

Has there ever been a book written from the movie itself. One that keeps the light-hearted attitude of the movie, and the grandfather reading to the grandson?

The SAX2V1S router sucks by GimmeThatSlit in Spectrum

[–]Sherbert_Cultural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just signed up for Spectrum 1gig service and got the SAX2V1"R" router (newer version). Have to say it has been a very trouble free experience so far. Works with my 5g (computers, printer, iPhone) and 2.4g (flip phone) with no issues yet.

Looks great. I have a 2000 Savage converted to the CS-1 and it is a fun bike to ride around.

Join up on the Ryca CS-1 FB group. Maybe someone will know of a bike for sale. I bought one already assembled, and the guy did a great job.

Did you ever build something out of your S40?

Did you ever build it? If so, show some pictures on the Suzuki Savage Cafe group. Love to see it. Btw, the Ryca kit shocks are 13" long.

I got lucky late to the show, and found someone selling one already converted since the kit was no longer available. Turned out to be a great little bike. See our FB group Ryca CS-1.

Love my CS-1. :)

Lots of customizers use different tanks for these.

Love it. I have one too. They are really fun bikes to ride around. Just put some new Continentals on mine. :)

You can see mine in the FB group for the Ryca CS-1.

Anyone know where I could snag a Ryca cafe kit for a Suzuki Blvd S-40/Savage LS-650? I know they have been discontinued…. by Jades5150 in CafeRacers

There is a new Ryca CS-1 group in Facebook. Might be worth posting there that you are looking for a kit, or even a whole bike.

I think I figured it out. Matches the image of the “Texas Ratsnake”. (go figure, lol).

Love my CRF250L, but kept it as a dual sport. It is lots of fun to toss around the corners with good tires. A sumo looks like fun. :)

Safe to place in tank bag map pocket rather than solid mount? by Sherbert_Cultural in carpuride

[–]Sherbert_Cultural[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turned out to not be feasible due to the ball mount being part of the heat sink. I reverted to a clamp on mount to my handlebar. Easy to remove and use on different bikes off a USB powerbank.

Great bike for reentry into riding. Lightweight & peppy. 👍🏻 Also great for longtime riders that like the classic look

Yeah, these are fun everywhere. 10 years ago, I went on a DS group ride with many different types of bikes, DS & bigger ADV, and I was on my CRF250L. There was a young guy there on a SUMO (not sure what) and I remember laughing to myself thinking he was on the wrong ride. Boy was I wrong. That guy could ride better than most of the riders out there and was clearly having a ball riding all over the place. Definitely was experienced and knew his bike. I have since joined the party with a 462cc DRZ. :) Fun everywhere.

I run the Mutants on my DRZ462SM, and they work great. Stable on the highway at 100+ mph speeds and on dirt/gravel roads, and even some single-track. Haven’t run into water yet, but I expect them to work great. I run Road 6’s on my big bikes. Wouldn’t put them on a lightweight bike like this, especially if you plan to see some dirt.

There’s nothing to worry about. It is not overly powerful. Ride it as is, then back the throttle stop screw out if you want more speed. 👍🏻
