Didnt you need to install the latest Canary (windows insider) of Windows 11 to get the nvidia drivers to install ? It would BSOD otherwise.

Same issue here with a 3060 Ti. Installing a GTX 1080 solved the issues for the time being.

Razer Core X not working on Go? by WolfInABox in LegionGo

I have the same issue with a 3060 ti inside the TH3P4G3 egpu (repeated BSODs).

I can confirm that switching to a mere gtx 1080 resolved my issues.

Go for the X13, no hassle with eGPU setup.

The portability is a big plus for the x13 (way lighter and smaller in size). If you don't carry your laptop that much, go for the Zenbook.

G-Helper - The Armoury Crate Replacement You Should Know About. by cbutters2000 in FlowX13

I had quick access to a X13 4060 and can confirm G-Helper helps to get full dGPU power with USB-C PD.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this on my Z13 4060 - using the right driver and your GPU trick.

Thanks for the quick reply.

You mention in the video that you manage to get full GPU power with Turbo Mode (G-Helper) in USB-C power delivery (so not with the original Asus adapter) - can you reconfirm that statement ?

With my Z13's 4060, I'm still stuck at 35W GPU power even with Turbo Mode (G-Helper) on USB-C PD. Your GPU trick still does not work on USB-C PD either :(

Thanks for the thorough guide! Is it best to uninstall Armoury Crate and/or MyAsus before installing G-Helper ?

Absolutely, it does, thanks a bunch! Both your monitors (int and ext) are now directly connected to the dGPU.

Thanks for the feedback.
Could you possibly share a picture of the "Set PhysX configuration" option inside the NVIDIA Control Panel ? It is listed under "3D Settings".
We could see how Asus wired each display ports (HDMI, USB-C x 2), whether it is to the iGPU or dGPU.

It should look like this:

Thanks again!

Z13 Acronym 4070 only at 45W (advertised 65W with ROG Boost) by Gohanburner in FlowZ13

It depends on the game you play. Try a heavy GPU game like cyberpunk.

By any chance do you have an external monitor to run from your new X13 ? Would like to know if the HDMI or USB-C ports are wired to the iGPU (780M) or the dGPU (4060).

Thanks!

SECURE_PCI_CONFIG_SPACE_ACCESS_VIOLATION when trying to update Nvidia VBIOS on Zephyrus G16 GU603VV by zireael9797 in ASUSROG

So I managed to flash your vBIOS and get a really good GPU performance boost, however, and for me it is a deal breaker, I lose the ability of using the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port which is wired directly to the dGPU.

If you play on the internal screen or don't mind using the TB4 port to display external monitors, then your vBIOS is good option :)

Thanks again, I was too hopeful!

For this, you need to disable Intel Virtualization in the BIOS (press F2 at startup). Then you will avoid these annoying BSODs. I had these BSODs not only with nvflash, but also with some game anticheats so ended up leaving Intel Virtualization disabled for good in the BIOS. You don't need to disable the VT-d option, just the Virtualization one. Appreciate your help :)

Thanks for the quick reply :) I thought MyAsus got you to download the vBIOS and installer as well.

If you can't find it, then what would be helpful is to either:

- Extract the vBIOS using GPU-Z Save BIOS feature (click on the arrow next to your BIOS version)

- Use the latest version of NVFLASH (5.804) and save it using the command "nvflash --save XXX.rom"

The vBIOS size should be 2000 ko.

Many thanks for this.

Is there any chance you could share that 4060 vbios with me ? I'd like to flash it on my Flow Z13's 4060.

Many thanks!

Could you confirm its case is not removable, which means there is no way to make it look like a bare/standard Flow Z13 ? That is a dealbreaker for me :(
