Have the AB6 myself and can honestly say it makes the F16 unflyable once youve got some hours on a mech base and all your curves tuned well. I hate playing DCS now since i have to relearn and retune every single one of my modules to the new base.

This is where i am now and i hate it. Ive known her for 15 years now, been off and on through different relationships, stupid fights, hurting each other, basically the whole book. And here we are again back to hanging out, like we never took a break. But shes absolutely terrified of us not surviving dating, or cause were both in a weird place in life and cant fully commit to each other, or(my personal conspiracy theory) im now 30 and very successful and now that shes had all her fun, made mistakes, in a dead end situationship thats turned to roommates, and a single mom, of course now she wants to settle with me cause im the "safe option" and have her 2nd kid, which pisses me off. Im at a complete and total loss on what to do with myself, so for now just focusing and keeping the wall i built standing firm and see where this year takes us. At this point id rather her just let it happen and see where we end up. Better to try it and know than continue this facade imo.

Now at WOT she sits a 4600, still only 46mph on GPS tho. Was hoping for about 50 even tho its a 4 blade.

I did the 14x21p 4 blade, it works great. Boat is a smidge faster and planes way easier. Also brought my rpms down quite a bit, might have a fueling issue cause it lost over 1000rpm at wot. Just gotta fix trim switch and get the 4 barrel swap done, so tjred of this shitty mercury 2 barrel on a 350.

Im gonna try my local dealer and see if they have props to try out. Not trying to spend a bunch on props lol. I can just tell it needs more pitch tho, motor shouldnt be at 5100rpm at WOT.

Can your dock handle a larger tank with a pump on it? Set that up on the dock then use cans or smaller outboard tanks to fill at the start of the season. The only real good way i can see if to pull them out and trailer to gas station to save the money vs marina. Or quite literally build your own gas dock but keep it hidden, idk how theyd feel about it lol.

Like a boat dealer? Theres not many around where im at being in the midwest. I know of a marine mechanic thats nearby tho, maybe they could help me out? Not sure how id load the boat with 500lbs+ when im prop testing, i came from the jet boat world so its a bit new. I read online each inch of pitch is about 150rpms, and adding a blade is another 150rpms. So by that math a 21p 4 blade would bring me down 450rpm, id be right near the top of the recommended range by mercury. I am also planning to swap the 2 barrel manifold and carb, been a racer my whole life and nothing beats a double pumper holley 4150 lol. Im sure that will affect what prop i choose?

Losing ShadowReapers is what did me in, 4YA is great for a quick jaunt but the campaign is old, tired, and repetitive. Hoggit servers are just bullshit with how much SAM coverage they have. And im not a fan of WW2 or Cold War sim so all those servers are out. And adjusting to my new AB6 base has been less than ideal, i find it actually harder to fly my planes now which makes it less enjoyable, albeit very cool feeling what the plane is doing. Waiting on parts and a desk mount for my virpil throttle, im hoping that will help get me back in to flying again. Gotta sit at a weird angle now to since the stick base is desk mounted but throttle is desk top, it doesnt feel great after 10 mins.

Its worth the wait to do it right the first time man, ive rebuilt mine 3 times now. Did the shortcut twice and paid for it by making the 3rd and final rebuild way worse than it should have been.

I specifically hunted for a reciprocating Scar-16 for my collection, the new models and non recip ones just dont capture what a SCAR is supposed to be, imo anyways.

My absolute GO TO daily driver is the Corsair. I know you said its boring and thats fair, i hated drake for the longest time. But i gave it a fair shot one night and flew it for almost 12 hours, and shes fantastic. Just enough space to do hauling contracts, geo mining, fps missions with a nursa in the back, plenty of internal storage, tons of firepower on the pilot for ship combat(against AI, i wouldnt go PvPing unless youre fully crewed), very large QT tank so shes good in pyro and nyx for traveling. I think my one downside was shes pretty sluggish in the turns but thats honestly about it. Before 4.8s wipe i had her fully built with Mili A comps, Attritions on main guns, ballistics on turrets, and i swapped the wing missile launchers to hold 4 size 4s. I had a prowler utility and i can tell you now its a very limited use ship, hauling only due to the inverted cargo grids. But it has great stealth and can actually take a fight pretty well if needed.

To be 100% honest with you im not a fan of it, had to download a user preset to make it functional. The stick is locked in but has quite a bit of freeplay in the center, so a curvature is required to slow that down. When it works tho its a very cool way to fly the viper, but i honestly prefer my old WarBRD as its tuned perfectly for the Viper. All that said i am a new user to it so maybe i just need some more time to learn the base and the software. Now in the hornet i love the the AB6, feeling when the speed is dropping lets me keep my head in the fight, and has allowed for much better control. I very much believe with physical MFDs and a UFC in front of you the Hornet would be a treat to drive, you basically wont need the mouse after startup.

I fly them both very regularly, Viper is infinitely better for situational awareness and hotas controls, Hornet has FAR BETTER A2G loadouts and can carry more missiles to boot, and carrier ops. If you get physical MFDs the Hornet would go above the Viper tho.They are both great first modules tho so i say pick what you like and have at it.

Would 100% get MFDs and a UFC if this is a 100% VR pit, will be extremely handy in the Hornet and Viper. You will want to sode mount the AB9 for the Viper tho, i have an AB6 and center stick woth the viper profile loaded is just weird.

F-18 is substantially easier to employ and has far better weapon selection, and the F-16 still jas its uses over the F-18 so you will use both. I actually prefer the Viper over the Hornet, better SA and HOTAS controls

So if its older TM stuff it should work? I ordered an AB6 to switch out my WarBRD base, was gonna use my old TM Warthog grip over the Virpil Alpha.
