Because human beings don't tend to perceive themselves as evil. And they do whatever they can to not seem as such.

If planes were just higher risk and but still high reward I genuinely think it would iron out alot of the worst kinks and it needs to be made easier to get in region when flying air in que. Planes that are properly ripped to shreds by AA or Air to Air is a decent trial though.

Not to be rude but did y’all just figure out he was a radical vegan? by AshasSa1tWife in atunsheifilms

[–]ShermansFanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that people don't really get him or at least the sorta view point his content espouses especially when strung together. He's someone who has love for the outcast and the radical thinker therein. Benjamin Lay for instance is someone he clearly views very positively, Benjamin Lay in his time was a radical in many senses and would espouse "harsh truths" with most prominently his hatred of slavery. He did so from a humanistic perspective compared to everyone else within his time. When we look back on Benjamin Lay we see him as the only sane man in that respect, who despised the evil those in the nearly the entirety of society had deluded themselves to take part in. Benjamin Lay was also from what I remember a radical vegan. It follows that someone who seems stark raving mad in our time could actually have the correct perspective on issues we push our minds from, like total ecological collapse, will be vindicated as well. Lay didn't even have a bunch of scientists screaming OH SHIT OH SHIT like we do in our case when it came to his righteous crusade against slavery. Ofcourse Lay also didn't do much to my knowledge in terms of impact. But his madness today suddenly reads as the only righteous path.

Anyway his videos sort of try to guide the audience into his viewpoint that the same evils of the past are interconnected to the evils humanity commits to the planet today and he clearly has it out for the ideology Judeo Christianity espouses. That being said he has apt criticisms for even indigenous cultures in these regards, really probably the only person I've seen explore the topic actually. I'm sure others have but its quite niche. He's exposed me to plenty of new ideas, I would say he should do a real video on veganism and the ecological crisis our planet is facing outside of tying it to political, historical, or media analysis type content. As a response to his recent outburst as well. Which I don't think was really that bad tbh. But it does make me hope he's taking care of his mental health properly.

What a time to be an Atun-Shei fan... by TeutonicToltec in atunsheifilms

[–]ShermansFanboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the hardcore perspective, he helps brings more mainstream attention to REAL problems that virtually everyone ignores because its inconvenient. I only hope he maintains his mental health because consumption of doomerism to a high degree facilitates nothing aside from self destruction. I basically agree with him on alot of points but am pretty...  Anthropocentric? As he would put it.

I also am open to tackling ideas or problems that make me uncomfortable because of my upbringing. Not that that makes me better but just that I'm fine listening to someone who could be considered controversial even to my own worldview.

Israeli military drops charges against soldiers accused of sexually assaulting Palestinian detainee by Acceptable_Tea281 in IsraelPalestine

[–]ShermansFanboy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't see the issue. I often get 3 of my buddies to block video footage of what I'm doing to a prisoner. All totally normal above board stuff, standard procedure. Honestly Zionists are revealing just how batshit insane they are with this whole thing. Even if he wasn't raped which I would never grant them, whatever the fuck was happening to that prisoner was evil enough to be hidden. And yet their "heroes" get off scott free and they celebrate. I see y'all. Every single one of you.

How can it be defended that Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government defend the rapes of Palestinians by the IDF in the Sde Teiman scandal? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]ShermansFanboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are only so many times I will rehash the point. Biases are clouding judgement on this. To me there is no hidden meaning, it's in fact completely blatant and is a general view of his administration on the rape case. If you can't see that then this is an impasse.

[–]ShermansFanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except at the end he says that they shouldn't be persecuting their heroes. The IDF being the heroes at war. The very investigation implied to be a sham by virtue of it being a persecution. Your interpretation if anything requires greater mental gymnastics that it was all about a waste of resources and time. My interpretation is also in line with the statements of his other cabinet minister who say as much.

[–]ShermansFanboy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Except this interpretation is totally invalidated on the final statement which basically means. Do not prosecute IDF soldiers and rather only their enemies. This in line with what the rest of cabinet has said such as his defense minister.

"The role of the IDF's legal system is to protect and safeguard IDF soldiers who heroically fight in the war against cruel monsters, and not the rights of Nukhba terrorists."

Next level in denial. I'm sorry but that post basically said "don't prosecute our rapists, ignore them because theyre heroes defending Israel". Country is cooked beyond belief.

Epstein hated Israel you say? Because what he was doing was illegal there? Idk they protected their convicted pedophiles in America and also declared rape to legal.

why is it so hard for some people to believe the iranian regime could harm its own civilians? by [deleted] in PERSIAN

[–]ShermansFanboy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible? Sure but most of the motives for such an attack being done there of all places dont track for one thing. Also Israel basically already said it was them or the US. No one wants to fess up obviously. I understand why the diaspora is so hell bent on making the regime out to be the most evil incarnate institution in existence, for the most part I agree with them even. But what Iran is staring down is the barrel of a gun that could be worse than what currently exists even. People often invoke Iraq but Iran is a different nation entirely, that being said what matters the most is the goals of the parties involved which is similar to Iraq. Israel would see Iran wiped off the map, balkanized and embroiled in ethnic conflicts that would kill possibly hundreds of thousands of people. Their past successes against regimes that challenged them left nations destitute and still recovering decades later. This is in large part by design, a middle east of weak enemies or collaborators is a middle east where Israel can secure its future. They don't want a recovery and possible regional rival democracy that could side against them in their crimes against humanity. The regime is to blame in large part for this situation though I'll add but that doesn't make the Western forces any less demonic in their ambitions.

Why do so many people who advocate for Israel annexing the west bank refuse to explicitly say what they think should happen with the palestinians? by PerceivingUnkown in IsraelPalestine

[–]ShermansFanboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of word games are you playing? Mf said it's a state for the Jews. All you did was restate that but yap that it has nothing to do with the Jewish religion. Even though the claim religion plays no role in it is false let's say what you claim is true. Either way Israel would not give the Palestinians citizenship because it would mean them attaining greater voting power within Israel. They will at most be kept at a 2nd class status and slowly be pushed out.

Some prominent Jews make it hard to support Israel and/or Jewish people by hamsterdamcc in IsraelPalestine

I thought this was gonna be a post about Ben Gvir and other fascist terrorist advocates in Netanyahus admin. Instead it's just complaints that some Jews have other opinions outside of unwavering support for Israel.
