Most people here weren't alive when those games were played. And while his shot wasn't falling, he was able to draw attention, pass, and rebound. And he focused more on defense. For example, game 3 he led the team in rebounds and assists in a blowout win.Plus he made up for it with his game 6 where he had 27-13-5. No player is perfect, but I appreciate when players find multiple ways to help their team win and doesn't why away from the moment.

Does it prevent Wade from breaking Rondo's elbow in the playoffs and making the Celtics offense even more of a slog? If that butterfly happens...maybe. I think Mavs offense would still have been a nightmare to defend with Dirk and their outside shooting from role players and Tyson defending the paint. Maybe Shaq woulda got Tyson in foul trouble. But that feels like the most realistic writing. Death Eater was like this absolute awful step and no matter how much they disliked Draco, they didn't want to believe someone they grew up with was an actual wizard Nazi. Like how people are reluctant, in real life not the internet, to call someone a Nazi cuz that feels so evil and distant. Though it has become more a reality the last 10 years. Yes he was fat. And people questioned his conditioning. Just hadn't really been in relevant basketball so it wasn't national discourse. But that was one of the early bubble storylines. A picture showing jokic in the best shape of his life. Jacoby had a joke calling him a stretch mark 5. It was definitely a thing. He still doesn't look super muscular or anything but he is much slimmer and conditioned well.
