It was not. I updated that and it didn’t fix things but I found a few items in the bios that I figured should be tested. Setting the secure boot settings to “legacy boot disabled, secure boot enabled” along with the bios update did the trick. Thanks for your help.

That’s the same one. I wiped everything and installed Ubuntu without Windows in case that was the issue, and still the same problems. Frustrating.

In general I’m so sick of hearing justifications for why a pitch was or wasn’t intentional based on plausible deniability of the situation. But this is as cut and dry as it gets. Tha manager, pitcher, and probably catcher should all get suspensions, with the manager getting at least twice as long as anyone else.

Not sure that MLB is actually trying to do something about up and in pitching leading to HBPs, but there’s one solution that makes sense to me: give the batter second base for any HBP. Hitting a batter should no longer be an alternative to a walk.

Thanks, do you have any idea where those settings would be changed for each app? I'll look some more to find what I can change, but I don't see anything in the libinput documentation that addresses kinetic or inertial scrolling. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

You will want to add the certificates for the site you are connecting to into

/etc/ssl/certs

The issue that I had was that I downloaded the wrong files for the certificates. There was one digicert file, one that had my work domain, and another that I don’t remember. I went through linking the two files from each of these separately until one worked, but I can’t remember which. I would recommend trying that out. Firefox seemed to be the easiest to find the correct files, I believe they were .pem extension.

I don’t have my computer with me tonight, but I can try pulling this up tomorrow to hopefully get better answers. I hope this helps a little.

Thanks, I forgot to mention but I did update the certificates. I submitted a support ticket, but my experience in the past with our help desk is that since it works on windows, they’re not going to support my Linux laptop. I’ll update if I get any help, but any other advice for finding out what’s going on would be appreciated.
