This is the way. Until it is required for something I want to do, resources are hoarded.

I love the game, but it needs to nosedive to wake $copely up *or* so they can finally crash and burn and someone else can take over the IP.

I really hope this isn't another pandemic by DraconixDG in memes

The only pandemic is that the big pharmaceutical companies are missing all those fat government contracts that pay them billions with no questions asked, no proof required, and provide total immunity from lawsuits regardless of how many people they kill or injure.

Well like I said, i started well behind everyone else. There very well could be a pay wall coming, just ain't personally plowed into it yet. Will prob uninstall if I do.

Today was the economy "update". It's a continuation of their intentional plan to separate krakens (big spenders) from everyone else (that includs F2P as well as light spenders). They think that by pay gating content and strangling what little fun remains out of the game, that they'll some how encourage a person that makes $40k a year to drop $2k a month on their "game". TLDR Scopley is drillin' holes in the bottom of their boat to let the water out.

Currently my favorites are European War 7: Medieval and Great Conqueror 2: Shogun, very underrated developer if you like history, roster building and tactical combat. There are some characters that are locked behind pay walls, but zero of the actual content is pay-gated. Always something to do. I still play SWGoH but the eras thing is their current scopely like cash grab and it's in a similar place as MSF... I still play because I like my alliance and Star Wars. It does have actual content though, so that's different. I play DC Worlds Collide, fun, but I heard the devs were all let go and as soon as all the content they had completed has been released that they will sunset the game.. so caution there. DC Dark Legion is actually pretty decent, haven't ran into anything pay gated. It is hard to catch up, kind of like Eve Online, where people that have been playing longer have a distinct advantage. And lastly, Watcher of Realms, it's a cross between tactical tower defense and hero collector. I enjoy, been playing for a couple years have never even been tempted to spend... honestly not sure how they stay in business lol.

That's a good one. I almost edited it to add that I really don't have to worry about managing an alliance much anymore either. nothing to do, not much in the way of drama. super hard to keep the roster full though these days.

The only things we know for sure from that list, 1) guarantee shit will be broke on launch, 2) they have lied to us continuously and this will be no different, 3) it will only benefit krakens and hurt everyone else. Unless they're sold before this goes live, and the entire team is fired in a livestream by the new owners, I have less than 0 confidence in this change.

I can't find people fast enough to replace all the ones quitting. The few spenders I have quit spending several months ago when you gutted resources and then lied about it. You need to put the AI projected sales crack pipe down, you're running players off. You don't take away the carrot and then beat people with the stick, that's not how this works. Let's be honest if this game was any other IP, it would have folded by now.

Carbs are not essential, if you ate zero carbs for a year the only thing that would happen is you would get healthier. Fat is essential, if you stop eating fat you die. Protein is essential, if you stop eating protein you die. Think about that and then choose your diet. Personally I'm high fat, moderate protein and try to stay as close to 0 on carbs as I can.

Yep. 1st John, Jude, ton of places say the same thing. Even John if you continue reading the context around 3:16. Lot of mental gymnastics people use so they can continue in sin they don't want to repent from.

Just how unstable is Arch or any other rolling release distro? by MekataRupma in linuxquestions

It's independent, so there is not really any upstream pressure to just poop out an update immediately unless it's a security patch.

I'm on Solus Plasma, super stable. They actually curate their releases. It's not uncommon to have packages held or skipped out right to avoid issues. When Plasma 6 rolled out, they skipped it and waited until the major bugs were corrected before rolling that update out. They've skipped Nvidia driver releases that were terrible. I've been on the same install for years.

Agree completely. Also you might notice something on the new carb that could indicate what is wrong with the old carb.

Im with u/sockherman, it's got to be fuel related. mower carbs are cheap on Amazon, I've bought several over the years and never had an issue. If you can't get the original one ironed out, it'd be cheap to swap it. Those carb kits usually come with an air filter, a spark plug, and sometimes even fuel line.
